This product works great! Has brought my hair to life, thick and full

After 24 years of using whatever shampoo and conditioner my mother bought, I realized I’m definitely using products way too heavy for my fine hair. I did a lot of online research and found that this was one of the most recommended shampoos for fine hair. So far, I love it. I’ve used it a few weeks now and my hair seems so light and bouncy. The smell is good, not as strong and yummy as my old Bed Head shampoo and conditioner but it’s definitely not a bad smell. Since I cut my hair about collar bone length, all I use is this shampoo, no conditioner, and no more oil for my ends and things have been GREAT. Now, the poor reviews do hold weight so here’s why this shampoo might not be for you. People were complaining that it takes a lot of shampoo to get it sudsy and clean their hair and here’s how I found this is true. On a normal day, it takes me less than a quarter amount and it suds up just fine and cleans my hair great. BUT last week I curled my hair, used a texture spray, and wore it for two days applying more texture spray in between. When I went to wash it, it did not clean my hair. I woke up to greasy oily hair. So here’s the thing, if you have longer hair or use hair products on the daily, then no this shampoo is probably not worth it. You will need a large amount to clean your hair. If you’re like me, if you have short hair that’s usually always free from products, you’ll be just fine and your hair will look and feel amazing!

Love the volume and scent

It's a bit pricey, but I got this for my husband who is concerned with thinning hair. He said he could feel a difference, like his hair was fuller and, honestly, it looked it! I don't actually know how big of an impact this shampoo made or how long lasting the effects are - but he did like it and that is enough for me. Minus one star due to price, but overall we're very happy with the quality of this product. And it lasted several months despite the small size. Will probably purchase again, just not every single time.

Worth the price. Huge difference in the thickness of my very fine hair when I use this shampoo.

To start, I love the shampoo. It works really well, it does a great job actually cleaning my hair, and offers great volume. It’s very thick and rich, and lasts a surprisingly long time for the size. I wash my hair every other day on average. My hair is greasy by the time I get to washing it and this stuff powers through that and dry shampoo no problem. Apparently I’m the only one that has an issue with the scent? It’s totally manageable, but it smells exactly like several of my husband‘s products. It’s not overwhelmingly masculine, but the scent is more what I would consider to be a male-oriented profile. It doesn’t linger too much after it’s washed out, especially not if you use a different conditioner. But it’s something worth noting. Definitely doesn’t diminish the value or remove any stars. It was just surprising the first time I tried it.

It smells nice and lathers well. A little goes a long way. I don’t think it does anything for strengthening or lengthening, so I’d probably opt for something cheaper or more effective.

I love my R&Co shampoo. My hair has thinned out significantly in recent years, and this biotin thickening shampoo has done wonders for the health of my hair. My hair feels clean and light. The product doesn’t weigh my hair down whatsoever.
