da Vinci Watercolor Series 498 Casaneo Paint Brush, Round Quill New Wave Synthetics, Size 0

I’ve searched far and wide for the perfect brush—one that feels like an extension of my hand, holds its tip, has a large water carrying capacity that won’t dump it all at once on the paper, and has a smooth feel on the paper. This is it! It outperforms even my expensive kolinsky sables. I own the #0, #2, and #4 Casaneo quills. Between those three I don’t really need any more brushes and I mainly use the #0 and #2. I never thought a synthetic would outperform a natural hair brush until now. Now I’m not sure what to do with all the rest of my brushes that I never use!

This may become my favorite (or most "go-to") brush. It holds more water than you'd think, so you have a decent supply of water for washes. Plus, the tip comes to a point for detail work, so I often don't even reach for small watercolor brush. I would buy it again, maybe one that's even a bit smaller than this one. Love it!

I decided ordered the size 0-sure how mop size equated to standard brush sizes. This brush was recommended for me by a friend. It lived up to my expectations and I was thrilled to have it in my collection. It’s now one of my favorites-

The bristles are not pointed as the company described. I wasn’t expecting this from Davinci.

This is the best brush I own, hands down. Holds a lot of water. Snaps back to shape. Very versatile. It's quickly become my favorite.

The Casaneo 498 is a great brush for washes when for example creation a sky. I already owned the size 2 but wanted the 0 for smaller size paintings or areas. The brush tapers to a fine tip, that allows you to get paint close to the edge of another colour section. It can also be used for very fine lines while holding lots of pigment in the bulkier part of the brush. Very happy to own these two.

Pincel prático para vários tipos de pintura em aquarela. Uso desde para pinturas mais detalhadas até para pinturas simples. Carrega bastante água, tem as cerdas macias e o tamanho, pelo menos para o meu uso, é muito prático. Consigo usar a ponta para fazer detalhes pequenos e agilizar a pintura.

Exelente pincel, es versátil, realiza trazos muuy finos y gruesos, absorbe buena cantidad de agua, el número 0 es aproximadamente un 10 normal (adjunto foto) también pongo una muestra de una pintura a la acuarela realizada solo con ése pincel,no se necesita más. Llego en buenas condiciones.
