Affordable and versatile power supply!
This is fantastic I'm super excited about it. It came in well packaged and everything you need. I have a Dunlop Slash Wah pedal that requires an 18v supply. All the others are standard 9v. So I would need to run separate supplies or batteries. This fits my needs perfectly. It goes well with my new Donner pedal boards. It also comes with 2 reverse polarity extensions if needed.I wish the adapter was longer. It is really designed for an outlet on stage or a power strip. I happen to have one so it's no worries for me. I spent a little time playing through and have experienced zero noise. Donner has been reliable for me so far. I have used daisy chains, pedals, and other products that have held up well. So I have no concerns with reliability. It's sturdy and fits well. I definetely recommend it and think it's a great value.

Extremely low noise, as in none.
My rig that was always horribly noisy is completely silent now. I was running on an ispot and it was demoralizing. Seriously , zero noise. You could spend a lot I guess on a big brand name, to get less than zero noise, ha!. I am pulling a lot of current on every port plus pedals that are getting power from other pedals. Including 18v to my Clone Centaur and 12 to my WAH. No issues. Now that it has proven itself out, getting second unit for my 2nd board. Small, lightweight easy to Velcro on. Good cables supplied. High quality unit, pretty jazzed about it. Shocked by how eerily quiet it is for this cheap. For giggles I plugged a daisy chain cable into it to power 3 more pedals off the 500ma port. Works, no noise. Very cool since I would rather blow money on pedals and my GAS than on power.

Great except for the AC adapter.
I largely agree with the 5/10/16 review by tdundas, but I would be one star more generous. The power brick itself works extremely well: it's quiet and compact, comes with a full set of connectors (including polarity reversing), and its ability to power a 12V and an 18V pedal in addition to eight 9V pedals makes it very useful and versatile. I am using it with a small Gator GPB-LAK pedalboard, which has an underside bracket that holds it securely. I don't know what more you could reasonably want from a pedalboard power supply, with one exception: the AC adaptor. One of the reasons I was attracted to this unit is its ability to power an 18V pedal. I have a Pigtronix boost pedal, which can be run at either 9V or 18V. When I connected it to the Donner's 18V output, I got a loud howling sound from the amp. I got no noise when I connected it, or any of my 9V pedals, to a 9V output. I was able to confirm that the problem was with the Donner's AC adapter, since I got no noise when I used the Pigtonix 18V adapter to power the boost pedal and the Donner to power the rest of my pedals. The seller, DonnerDirect, was very responsive and promptly sent me a replacement. Unfortunately, I still got the same loud noise when connecting my Pigtronix pedal to the 18V output. So I bought a Dunlop ECB004 US AC adapter from Amazon, which has the same specifications as the Donner AC adapter. With the Dunlop adapter, everything worked perfectly with no noise when the Pigtronix pedal was connected to the Donner's 18V output and my other pedals were connected to the Donner's 9V outputs. So be prepared for the possibility that you will have to buy another AC adapter to use with this unit. Based solely on my experience, that shouldn't be necessary if you're only using 9V pedals, and it's at least possible that you wouldn't have the problem with an 18V pedal that I had (I don't have any 12V pedals to use for a test). Worst case, you would have to spend an additional $14 for a Dunlop AC adapter, which would still leave the total cost of the unit far below any alternative. And the seller's responsiveness to my contact is reassuring. Maybe the adapter problem will be cured in future production runs.

Absolutely UNBEATABLE value. Don't bother with VL, this is BETTER!
This was definitely the most significant cost-cutting attempt I made in my entire setup. I just couldn't swallow that it should take $150-$300 to run a few milliamps to a few pedals! And I have to say, so far, I don't think it does! Is it COMPLETELY ISOLATED like VL supposedly is? I dunno, maybe not. But I think that 99% of users don't need any more than this. Not only does this power supply offer specs that surpass every "also-ran" power supply, it kicks any Voodoo Lab product in the teeth! Even the $200 VL 4x4 has FEWER ports (only 8 simultaneous) at LOWER amperage! The only one that even comes close is the $300 MONDO. Meanwhile with the DP-2, for a relatively paltry $50, you get 6 9V ports at 100mA, 2 9V ports at 500mA, and one each 12V and 18V, BOTH at a whopping 500mA. TEN TOTAL PORTS. I am using every port except the 18V (and still had to daisy chain a couple pedals off my BOSS LS-2) and so far it is working flawlessly. I am not getting any more noise than I do with individual wall-warts, and what noise I do get it easily snuffed out by the appropriate pedals (EHX DBBMP, BOSS NS-2, etc.). About the only gripe I have is the AC adpater. It has a "snap-in" plug so the adapter does not sit flush wherever it's plugged in, so it can be easily pushed down on the bottom, which pulls the plug a little bit out of the socket. Hasn't been an issue, but a silly problem to have, and even easier for Donner to fix.I will update this review if I have any problems, but as of right now, the Donner DP-2 has hit it out of the park!

Great product for a fantastic price!!!
I FINALLY have the power that some of my pedals needed. Putting the 18v to the Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster really opened that pedal up. My BeatBuddy Mini has the power now to give me some of the sounds I knew I was missing. Now I finally have a clean area for my pedals instead of a bunch of extension cords with a bunch of adapters. Depending on how long it lasts is the only thing that will change my review but for now it gets a 5 star rating with the added bonus of all of my pedals running at once has much less noise. Great product for a fantastic price!!!Update on the supply. After 2 years of use and using every output most of the time this power brick is still flawless. No noise, powers all the multi effects, single effects, and my Trio Plus. If this ever gives up I will get another one.
