Is this what you need
The flue side fits in another fitting. This does not fit over a pipe. If you need to make a slip fitting a threaded fitting this is what you need. High quality.

Fits Inside A Pipe But Does not fit inside a black stamped ABS 1-1/2 in. SCH 40 pipe! Wrong I.D.!
If anybody out there is wondering if this will fit inside a black ABS 1-1/2 inch SCH 40 pipe, nope it does not fit. It will loosely fit inside a white 2 inch SCH 40 PVC pipe with some kind of thick gasket to seal around it. I don't currently have a 2 inch black ABS SCH 40 pipe to try out a fit. I may do a return and order an outside diameter fitting O.D. 1-1/2 in. pipe instead. This looks like a well made part though. Updated: This part fits very well inside the smaller end of a PlumbQwik flexible PVC reducing coupling 1-1/2'' x 2'' that has stainless steel clamps on each end.

False Advertising
Says it's 1-1/2" to 1-1/2" on both ends to connect two pipes of the same size together. At least, that's how I interrupt it. The purpose being able to quickly disconnect or reconnect without the need to weld two abs pipes together permanently. What I received however, only one end (the non threaded side) was 1-1/2".. while the other end was smaller. Maybe 1-1/4"? Definitely couldn't accept another 1-1/2" though, so it doesn't work and the description of the item listed here makes no sense to me.
