I had a hard time figuring out how to get the plastic bottle open, but once I did I really liked it. It won’t spill and you can control how much you use it. The product itself I’m very satisfied with My sister used it when she visited and liked it so much she ordered her own and the conditioner to try.

I have lots of sensitivities and allergies and this is the only hair product line that not only I tolerate, but keeps my hair in excellent shape. I started using this product line before I started having allergies, so not the only reason I use it. It keeps hair at its best.

I feel safe using this product because it is silicone free. When I first started to use it, it feels weird because there is not much bubbles and I wonder if it really cleans my scalp. After a few times, I got used to it. I’ll consider a bigger family size one later.

The shampoo did make my hair appear thicker but it was horribly unmanageable. There’s no use in continuing using the shampoo if my hair is gonna look crazy despite my effort to style it as usual.

It definitely does what it claims! It gives my thin, weak hair some substance and texture. I had to get a conditioner to use with it because it does make my hair tangle a bit. It smells a tad medicine-y, but not bad. It's a little too pricey so I probably won't buy it again. I guess they have to pay for that caviar! Lol! I have begun to notice some baby hairs along my hairline in the front, so that's a good sign. I've only been using it a little over a month a couple or more times a week.

I have extremely dry and thinning hair and have tried many, many shampoos without success. Alterna takes away the dryness without making my hair feel weighted down which adds to the volume. As a plus, it has a very mild scent.However, I really hate the plastic "bottle" it comes in. The shampoo is thick (good) but doesn't want to come out of the bottle (bad) without my squeezing it very hard, which is difficult for a seventy-five year old! Also, because the bottle is completely opaque I can't see when the shampoo is running low. I tried to remove the cap completely and put the shampoo into a see-through, more user-friendly dispenser, but absolutely could not get the cap off. So, please improve this really difficult container for an otherwise great product.

I got this shampoo and both my wife and I are losing a little hair and wanted to try and reverse the trend with no medicinal products. Not only has this shampoo brought hair back to the spots where we were losing it, my barber keeps telling me each time I go how great my hair’s condition is. She said it’s growing in more full and my hair is strong and extremely well hydrated and in the best condition she’s seen it in years. Love this shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment!!

Product arrived without a pump. There is an engineered space in the silver cap to accept a proprietary pump. On a previous order of the conditioner I lost the pump. I tried contacting the manufacturer 3x to get one. Ordered one from Amazon, which didn't fit. None saved at home fit. Called Amazon in November 2024 and was told they do not sell this same size shampoo with a pump...Otherwise, I have tried this product in a smaller size and the densifying conditioner and was very satisfied. Wanted to see how they both work long-term. Hair volume definitely increased. So it was effective. I have slightly wavy, thin color-treated hair. Hair feels good after use.You'll have to get over the string minty smell and the fact that the shampoo doesn't matter much. I just let it sit on my hair while in the shower for a few minutes and do the same for the conditioner.
