Im using this as a wireless bridge to extend my network's signal to our shop building. Im using a single unit, aimed at my primary router at a distance of about 75 yards. The Router is inside of the house, behind a stucco exterior, and this unit is inside of the shop pointed out of a window, with minimal vegitation between the two. Signal quality is excellent and I have little doubt I could double this range (or more) with little loss of signal quality in this configuration.

Have been using these for quite some time now and have had very good results. Have a three point bridge, longest one about 1/4 mile and out of line of sight but still has good enough connection to streem security camera footage. Highly recommend!

Tried to put this in a window to extend wifi outside, to talk to sensors in car in parking lot. No dice. Couldn’t reliably get a signal from 10 feet away. I think these excel when it’s two of the units talking to each other, but as a standalone AP, not a good outdoor unit. Incidentally, setup as an ap, on an existing network, is a pain, requiring setting a computer to static ip. It is cheap, and it did seem to work fine as an AP inside the room, so, it may have some use as an AP, just didn’t work for me.

I've been looking for an outdoor rated WiFi endpoint to communicate with my AP that's around 500 feet away. Most devices don't work reliably at that distance, and setting up a router with a directional antenna or point to point link is just too complicated. This device took only a couple of minutes to setup and works flawlessly, has great signal strength and doesn't require any changes at the AP side..

I don’t know the exact range but it’s working fine on 2 acre I don’t like to have signal one way only I mean I pointed to the backyard and have a full signal there only no signal on the front yard. the other things I have 300 MB service and the backyard have only 40 so the unit is very slow if you don’t mind the speed I recommend to buy it if you need a full -speed then find something else. Update after three months used this is a big is junk in the world don’t spend a penny on it now constantly connection problem Internet is a way way too slow useless junk

Stavo cercando qualcosa di economico per sostituire il vecchio ripetitore. Questo Tenda fa il suo dovere. Ha diverse modalità di funzionamento tra Universal Repeater, Clien (Station), WISP e tutte le indicazioni su come configurare il dispositivo sono sul manuale (in inglese). A me serviva l'Universal Repeater, semplicissima da configurare se nel vostro router è presente il tasto WPS. Basta avvicinare il dispositivo al router, premere su quest'ultimo il tasto WPS e sul Tenda, dopo qualche minuto il tasto Range Extended. Una volta che il led Bridge diventa fisso, potete spostare il Tenda dove volete per avere un segnale forte in luoghi in cui prima non arrivava. Potete configurarlo anche tramite PC per ottenere lo stesso risultato. Le altre modalità non mi servono per ora quindi non le ho testate. Utile la possibilità di fissaggio anche a parete grazie ai supporti presenti sul fondo e due tasselli compresi nella confezione. Il segnale arriva senza più problemi anche all'esterno dell'abitazione senza perdita di velocità.

I believe this is no longer available. Bought it for a friend who wanted to have ethernet and WiFi at the end of the garden. It took less than 5 minutes to set up as an extender and has worked perfectly since.

The system works without any configuration issues. The little POE injectors could have an LED to indicate that they are powered on but that is a minor point. ! Initially received a non-working unit but returned the package to Amazon and the replacement arrived 2 days later. Took less than 10 minutes to climb onto the roof and connect up. Performance is excellent. I have not done any specific benchmarking but video is fast, VoIP no jitter, all in all very satisfied

The product it's overall good and works how it should. Good for small spaces with thin walls.
