Used 2 to make my line a single loop, previously I was unable to move the line as the old pulleys being so small created high resistance, these large, free spinning wheels make it a breeze. Also has a option for you to put a brake on it, which is handy as the birds on the feeder bumping the line did make it move.

It's been outside for a year now, snow, rain, etc., no rust. I mostly use it for a bird feeder, sometimes for laundry. I wish the groove on the wheel was deeper as the line has slipped a few times; but overall a decent product. Hint: put a carabiner clip over both lines, and a clothespin on the bottom line forward of the clip (so it will return to you) to keep the bottom line from sagging too much.

I bought this after using the "old plastic cheap / line falling off pulley style". Using it with a plastic coated clothesline. Pulley works great and there is a tremendous amount of tension with a 100' clothesline (total of 200' of cable!!) No hang ups, no catching... they simply work great. Highly recommended!
