Been using this for a few years. It was suggested by my holistic vet since little dogs such as mine have issues with knees. It's not cheap but it really does help so I keep ordering it and administering it in her freeze dried raw dog food. This is a priority for her.

She will never be able to run and jump as before, but Lubrisyn helps her to enjoy an active lifestyle again. My horse has no trouble eating this in his grain and if I need to add Bute, it mixes right in. Hocks seem to be less sticky and horse has better movement. Farrier says he can tell a difference in the rear legs too.

My 4 year old Doberman blew out her knees when she was just 2 and had to have ACL surgery on both knees early in 2015. Her recovery was slow with a lot of setbacks over the spring and summer. She was getting chondroitin, glucosamine and MSM in tablet form but continued to have issues with the meniscus in both knees. In September after consulting with my vet and learning that she was likely to have problems with her meniscus for the rest of her life, I decided to try her on Lubrisyn. He thought that might make a difference in keeping the meniscus more lubricated and moving more freely. The result was fairly dramatic. She began to use both hind legs evenly within two weeks and she was obviously much more comfortable. She continues to do very well and will be on Lubrisyn for life.

Recommended by my vet over a year ago, local sales were smaller bottles and higher prices. This larger bottle is a good deal, lasts longer and easy to use as I just squirt a bit onto my aging dog's food when i fill his bowl. Lubrisyn has helped my dog be able to move without visual effort shown of aches and pains in joints as before the med. (So much difference, that I began to take the human approved, grape flavored one for my aging, aching joints with benefits seen as i have to go up and down steps a lot)

My dog's arthritis got really bad very quickly. I got him to the vet and got him on some prescription pain meds and they helped. I was looking for other options that could help him more. My groomer told me about this and it really did help help him also. He was probably at 25% of his original mobility. The prescription meds got him to about 65% and this gets him to 75%-80%. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to help their dog get some movement back. If my dog's case had not been as severe this might have been the only thing i needed. It's generally expensive but worth the cost in my opinion. My dog is also a very picky eater and i mix this with a little wet food and he does not have a problem eating it. I hope this review helps someone else on the fence.

The product seems to work. The shipping dept at Amazon needs to grow a brain. Who would ship a heavy liquid container in a paper bag? The adhesive seal had come apart on the paper bag and the contents of the bag were falling out when I found the package on my front step. The contents of the package were worth over $100 and you use a flimsy paper bag. Maybe it is time to shop elsewhere
