A great tent! It withstood a significant Florida rain storm and didn't have a drop inside! Rain was our biggest concern and we were worried about leaks from our heavy Florida weather. Well constructed with heavy duty zippers and canvas. Set up was simple enough, though it takes two people if you can't lift heavy things. Stakes and guylines are also quality. We bought the 12' tent and it's a comfortable fit for 4 people, but you could easily squeeze in a couple more if needed. Ventilation is decent, but we haven't tested it in the summer yet.

I bought this tent to live in long term. I have never had a canvas tent and I am quite impressed this far. It is very easy to put up. I can do it by myself. It is heavy which may make it harder for some to move alone. But once place it takes about 15-20 minutes to pitch. It protect great against the wind and rain. The canvas is thick and the tent is spacious. Im giving 4 stars because I’ve had no other tents to compare to so can’t say for sure whether it’s truly 5 stars.

Omg this tent is so freaking cute! I got the 16’ sierra and it was really easy to assemble. It took about 20 minutes and it was up! The zip up windows as well as the top vents were very handy as it was hot the night we used it. For leakage, we haven’t had it out in the rain yet but with the morning dew it did very well. The 16’ is huge! Very tall for people who like to stand up in their tent instead of crawl around. As for quality, this tent should last forever! It’s not made of cheap material like your $30 tents from Walmart, it’s worth the money.

I love everything about this tent. As I watched other families struggle with the poles and gizmos of regular tents I glanced at our teepee tent (per the kids naming) and while it took some time to setup it was very easy (especially with the footprint to guide us). We were stormed on as well and others complained their tents dripped thru, our gear stayed. I was nervous to purchase a canvas tent but so far I am impressed and confident we'll use this more and more. A few notes... *The weight says its 55 lbs. This might be with the tent and the stakes together. We packed them separately and it was fine. I easily lifted both individual bags no issue (5'4 woman, 136llbs, not alot of muscles LOL) *Order the footprint, great guide for setup and it is perfectly fitted for this tent. Others used tarps and they puddled up and the tent got wet underneath because of this. *I highly rec you pack a mallet. I found one at target that is a mallet and has a hook to help pull out the stakes afterwards. *2 full size air mattresses fit just fine. Be sure to measure. Our queen air mattresses were not gonna fit so we downsized and it was perfect. We are a family of 6 (2 adults, kids 17/13/9/4) and we did alright. It was a bit tight to fit our stuff as well. So the cooler went into the car at night. The clothes bags and shoes fit fine. *The tent has insulation, others were cold but we were warm and cozy in the evening. However I'm nervous about the summer camp outs so we'll be sure to keep the windows open and pack a small fan. Above all be sure to READ THE MANUAL! We didn't at first and luckily we found out we needed to "weather" the tent before the first use. We did it 3 times, the manual says one is enough. I wanted to be darn sure! LOL. Do not store the tent while its humid or misty. Make sure it is completely dry to maintain the life of it.

After COVID, my wife and I had lost our business and were buried in debts after being denied for both the PPP and EIDL loans. So, when our apartment lease expired, we decided to set up this tent and live for free in the in-laws backyard. We're currently renovating an old camper which will be our new home in about 3 months. We've lived in it full time since March with our 2 dogs and have loved it. Where we live, it's rained almost every day (tropical climate), and the tent has been 100% waterproof. We have the 16ft. model. We have a queen size bed in there, 2 dog beds, a mini table, and a few short plastic dressers for clothing. It gets a bit hot in the day (bc it's literally 105 degrees where we live), But that's fine because we're usually out working all day anyways. We ran an extension cord inside and have a small portable a/c unit set up, which keeps us nice and cool throughout the mornings and evenings when we're inside. We even put a little TV in there too! There's nothing that's quite as relaxing as sitting back in the tent after a long day and listening to the evening rain patter on the canvas and the sound of the wind blowing outside. This tent has been through a category 1 hurricane and 2 tropical storms and is still standing! I'm going to buy another one, as ours developed some mold due to all of the rain and constant humidity. But that's our fault because we didn't catch it fast enough and use a mold killer (lesson learned!) --On this note, if you EVER see a little black dot of mold, take care of it IMMEDIATELY by spraying some hydrogen peroxide on it and scrubbing it with a brush. Otherwise it'll grow and spread quickly.. Keep in mind that cotton/canvas is a natural material (which is why it's so breathable), but mold loves natural materials. So always keep an eye out and be proactive about treating it. I can't wait for them to restock the tests, because we need one ASAP!
