UFiber Low-Cost GPON Optical Network Unit (UF-Loco)

I brought this to replace the Huawei GPON, the only issue I faced is that it required to change the serial number of the device in order to get a connection from the ISP. Overall the connection had been stable as a difference of with the Huawei Echolife GPON that I was looking my internet at least 4-8 times daily. I managed to change the SN using a third-party tool, but it takes a bit of research, so it defeats the purpose of having this.

Despues de pegarme durante muchas horas con el HGU de Movistar/O2, finalmente vi que no iba a poder usar un Router Neutro sin quitarme el HGU de encima. Descubrí casi por casualidad esta opción y tras leer unos cuantos comentarios con detalles sobre como realizar la configuración, puedo decir que en menos de 30mins tenía todo funcionando y por fín me he ahorrado todos los problemas que tenia con el HGU de Movistar... La conexion es estable, rápida y no he tenido ningun problema hasta el momento. El dispositivo se calienta pero algo muy parecido al router FRITZ!Box 7590 AX, ambos funcionan perfectamente en conjunto. En resumen, contento y sin problemas. Recomendable

Es perfecto porque tiene varios perfiles compatibles con varios tipos de OLTs. Funciona con Movistar Colombia sin problemas.

Die Einrichtung ist sehr simpel und einfach. Es funktioniert einwandfrei und sieht auch sehr modern aus. In der Oberfläche sowie das Gerät selbst.

I do not like renting internet gear from the ISP. For me, it is cheaper to just buy my own gear. We just got fiber optic cable on my street and I bought the Ubiquiti UF-Loco for my “cable modem” and connected it to my existing Wi-Fi Router. It works great!
