No. I use a RO (reverse osmosis) system for removing arsenic.

How does this differ from AO-WH-PRE-RCP2? Is it just filter life, or does one filter better than the other?

This is what our installer recommended. We have not used any other filter as these work very well. We change them about every 5 months.

how frequntly should they be changed?

The package indicates the filter lasts up to six months. I usually change it within the fifth month.
