Do her eyes open and close?

No I don't think it open and close eyes. I gifted the doll and went out of the country so I can't confirm that. I looked with the magnifying glass that is in there to see the image up close and there is NO ATTACHED UPPER LID. It is all one piece the entire face. You can check that yourself too. My other suggestion is to post the question directly to the vendor and they can give an accurate answer. I did check this when I bought the doll because I did not want a doll with open and close eyes because if the mechanical part of the eyes MALFUNCTIONs, the doll DOES NOT look attractive any more.
