Is it water proof? Like if the baby gets sick can i clean it and it still work properly?

I've accidentally washed it with baby clothes. Still works. On my second baby now, almost 3 years later.

How do you know when battery is dead? A few days ago it had half a battery after using it for about a week. Now it’s not showing up for the app.

The batteries definitely don’t last that long if the light no longer turns on, it’s dead! I went through a lot of batteries but still really enjoyed the product.

My clip broke already . Do they have a replacement?

If you send them a message asking for extra clips because your initial one broke, they will immediately respond and send 2 extra clips

Does the app need to be running on the phone to get alarms?

Hello,Thank you for your question! The MonBaby button does need to be connected to the app via Bluetooth in order to send alarms to your smartphone. However you can run the MonBaby app in the background to use other functions (like FaceBook or Candy Crush) and the alerts will still appear as a dropdown on your screen if they are triggered. The button itself however will not emit any audible alerts, and will need to be connected to the phone in order to work.
