Yes. I've had mine on for more than a year now. No problems.

Will this accessory hold a rokform phone case as well?

It only works with a Quad Lock case. You need both the mount & the case for your special phone.

Does it hold other fones like asus zenfone or others?

As long as you have a sturdy case that you are willing to glue the universal adapter onto, then it should be fine. I used one of the iPhone kits, which came with a special case just for iPhone.
