Knife Block arrived substandard to expected!
Really disappointed when this set arrived...the block itself had a crooked branding which was well glued down so couldn't be straightened. The knives looked ok but the scissors were heavily scratched like they were well used and didn't lign up either...Amazon offered a credit if I returned the set to Australia from NZ but that meant I had to travel 40 mins each way to closest drop off courier point and their hours didn't work against my work hours seemed pointless for a dodgy block and grotty scissors so I decided I'd buy a new block locally and buy some new scissors seemed a better solution considering option given and the cost of my fuel and time...will be more careful choosing items on Amazon if thats the back up service!

Handles rust super fast!
I received my order January 25th. Quick delivery but it’s feb 3rd and the handle of my knives are rusting already!! The knives are sharp which I love but they won’t last with this rust all along the handles.My friend bought another knife set and I read the reviews on hers and didn’t end up buying it because it had this issue. I saw this block set and saw no complaints so I got it hoping I wouldn’t be the one regretting this purchase. Turns out I should’ve just got the one she bought that’s different than this. So disappointed. Wasted $$$

This is a very inferior product, and i would not recommend it
poor workmanship, poorly made, and not worth the money., knives were badly marked and stunk like they have been soaked in some caustic chemicals, the block has imperfections and damage in it, the box, is damaged, and the whole set was a total disappointment, do not buy.

Chinese made NOT German made
Bought these thinkimg they were German made. But despite them saying German steel like 4 times on the product page they deceptively leave out they are made in China.

Bought these for my ex’s birthday, didn’t think they would be that nice dam it. Very nice product
