Purchased for sunburn. Does exactly as advertised. Packaging is appropriate and the quality appears to be consistent and good. It soothed the sunburn and did not have any extra irritations. There was no stickiness, you just poured into your hand and gently dab it on or rub it in as needed. Easy to use. Easy to open. And it seems like a good value so I bought two of them.

My father and I share our Amazon account- I bought this aloe in tandem with the sunscreen for my trip to Rio. Thanks to how great the sunscreen is, I was only burned once. It was a pretty cloudy day, so I didn't put any sunscreen on until later in the day, and when I did, I entirely neglected to put any on my chest. The burn was enough to be annoying, but as soon as I went back I put this aloe on. It can be a little intimidating at first. The smell is strong and you get a knee jerk reaction that it is definitely going to sting when you put it on. When you finally work up the guts to put it on your body, it's a much better experience than any aloe I've had before. Other aloes feel like you jump from one extreme to the other- very hot to shoving ice cubes on your chest and then within minutes, it simmers back to feeling way too hot. This aloe does not give that initial jolt of cool, but it does not warm up quickly at all. The lidocaine is very soothing and allowed me to sleep with no irritation in that area. After the fact- the only thing left on me from the burn is a bit of redness. It's been 2 days since I was burned, so for a normal person, that might sound normal, but for me it is not. I am basically a walking piece of tinfoil under a heat lamp. Once it gets in, it does not want to go out. For this burn to already be dissipating with only mild application of aloe is absolutely amazing- especially considering I took the entire bottle with me, anticipating to use the entire thing. I only ended up using 1 quarter sized drop to cover my chest from the shoulders and neck to my armpits. It spreads very well, just like the sunscreen, and once you've put it on, the strong smell calms itself down and stops it's direct assault on your nostrils. Overall, it was a very pleasant product and I will be gladly buying it again 5 years from now, because this bottle is probably never going to run out.

Nice product. Smells good & works great on sunburned or over exposed skin. Will buy again. Great to have on hand.

It's an aloe gel with a little bit of topical lidocaine for pain numbing. If you've got a really bad sunburn, this is unlikely to really make a dent. But it can help briefly and helps with moisturisation. Like many gels, it will leave you feeling a little sticky.
