My son received this as a gift over a year ago and really loved it, which is the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars. It entertains him for a long time. Unfortunately I had to buy another one to replace it because he has ripped several cards off of the ring in that time though he was between the ages of 1-2. I kept trying to tape them up but eventually it was beyond repair. I also hate that although the rest are animals, the Q in this set is for Quack instead of quail, and the X is for x-ray when it could be for X-ray Tetra (fish). Y is for Yabby which I've never heard of, could've been Yak, but at least it's an animal. I don't think this was done very well, but my son does really love is.

These live in the car now because it keeps our toddler busy on longer trips. As they get older you can ask them questions like 'can you find the tiger' etc. or ask them to count the animals. My entire family is hard on their toys and sometimes toys don't last very long, not the case with these. Sturdy, can handle a little mouth-time without becoming soggy and are easily wiped clean. They aren't waterproof but have a coating front and back of them.

I purchased these before my family took a long road trip, so that my 4 year-old would be entertained. The pictures are adorable and brightly colored, and it's easy to flip from one card to the next. I love that the ring holds all the cards so they don't end up falling/getting lost. The quality is great and it's a fantastic learning tool for kids. My daughter and I are both very happy with these flashcards!

Some of the alphabet pictures are confusing for little ones. For example N for nest has a nest and bird so its natural to say bird. These are cute!!

I love these flash cards! Toddlers will absolutely enjoy it! They're sturdy, cute and fun!
