Q: Is it not possible to play just 2 people?

Unfortunately 3 is the minimum for the mechanics to work correctly. The way the game is designed, players are trying to empty their hands/deck. If only 2 people were to play you would wind up having frequent stalemates.

Four. High five, fist bump, switch-a-room and happy salmon. It is such a fun game for all ages.

6 sets of 12 for a total of 72.

Q: What happens when playing with 4 people and no one has a card in common?

When you don't have a match, you put the card in your pile of played cards and move on to the next card. When you've gone through the cards in your hand, you pick up your played stack and continue until someone runs out. Super fun game
