Works great for rock painting!
Pros: Quick-Drying: The oil-based ink dries quickly, reducing the risk of smudging. Water-Resistant: Resists water, making it suitable for outdoor projects. Fade-Resistant: The colors are long-lasting and resistant to fading. Versatile Surfaces: Can be used on a variety of surfaces including paper, glass, metal, and plastic. Bold Colors: Offers vibrant, opaque colors that stand out on both light and dark surfaces. Cons: Odor: Odor to be a bit strong, though it is generally low. Removal: While durable, the paint can be challenging to remove from certain surfaces.

Perfect for what I needed.
I've been getting high quality deck boxes for various sleeved board game cards and needed a way to label the boxes so I knew what cards were in it. I tried a few different things but nothing really worked well so figured I would try a light colored paint pen. This worked like a charm. Went on the deck box smoothly and evenly. Dried quickly and now I can stored the deck boxes together and know quickly which ones to grab for a given game.

Easy to use and easy to see.
I needed to mark cut lines on some black rubber so I tried this. It was easy to use and easy to see.

Used to paint road rash on gray rims
Used to paint road rash on gray car tire rims, took a while because of pen design that does not flow a lot of paint at one time. Cover well worth the cost and time.

Great For Alloy Wheels Curb Rash Repairs
Odd use for a Sharpie, but I saw it used on a video and is an inexpensive way to paint alloy wheels after you sand down curb rash. Now, by no means is this a fix all solution. If your wheels are aluminum, polishing the curb rash and following up with a clear coat is the way to go. If your alloy wheels are painted. The perfect way to do it is to purchase the correct color in a spray can. In my case, this is a Honda CRV and it does have alloy painted wheels. A can of matching spray paint is $33. I opted to use this, save a couple of bucks and although is not a perfect match. It does blend with the existing color fairly well. Will I say is perfect, no. Am I satisfied with this least expensive option, yes. Will I splurge and spend $33? Most likely. Make sure is oil based.

Easy to use
Purchased to touch up the lettering on my engine heat shield/cover. It says SUPERCHARGED on the left and right sides of my engine cover. In the 9 years of it's life the paint on the letters I assume saturated with oil condensation and wore off. What little coloring that was left on the lettering would easily rub off if you touched it. So as particular as I am, I wanted to fix it. So I cleaned the remaining paint off and used alcohol to make sure it was contaminant-free. Then I used this silver paint pen to re-paint the letters. Some things I read online insisted that it was gonna be messy and hard to do a clean job. That was NOT the case. It was very easy to do. And if I had to give any advice I would say yo make sure you use soapy water, or alcohol, or whatever to clean the surface thoroughly first. Then just keep a steady hand and color it in as you would if you were using a normal sharpie marker. And I think the finished product came out as good as it did because I did it all in one coat. I feel like if you were to do a sloppy job and attempt a second coat, that's when you would get smears and lines in the paint. So just do a thorough job the first time through if possible. It wasn't runny or watery. It was thick enough to get a good coat on it the first try. And for my particular application the fact it's supposed to hold up high temperatures is why it was perfect for what I used it for. Now if I was painting the whole cover, rather than just some detailed lettering, high temp spray paint would've been more appropriate. I can't imagine trying to paint an entire engine cover with something that covers like a pen or marker

Works on Paper...Kinda
This worked relatively well if you're just writing on paper or a slick surface, but if you use these to write over the top of some pain (e.g. as an outline or for lettering), it won't work. I was having to go through reactivate the paint every couple of inches when using this on top of acrylic paints.

I most commonly use paint pens to mark my tires when I swap my summer tires for winter and vice versa. These paint pens work great for that, and the silver stands out nice against the black rubber. Sharpie quality as you’d expect!

À savoir, ne sèche pas très rapidement et se vide rapidement. Sinon, bon sharpie en général et une bonne quantité pour le prix.

I kept in the house until I was ready to use. Recently opened the package and tried to write. Nothing came out no color or anything. I am very disappointed at Sharpie. I wish i have tried the product before Amazon window is closed otherwise i could return it. Bought but it didn't work. Useless marker :(-
