PBN - Premium Body Nutrition Whey Protein Powder 1kg Cookies

I think its hard to judge the 'effectiveness' of these protein shakes because you never really know if any 'gains' are down to the shake, or your diet & exercise. I tend to, therefore, base any review on consistency & taste and just hope / presume they are having a positive effect on me physically. This mixed great, no lumps at all using a normal shaker. In terms of taste, I use milk and it tastes very good. A bit sickly, but thats probably to be expected with a chocolate & peanut butter taste. Taste is nice though, and actually enjoyable as opposed to others that you have to wash down with another drink. Would recommend, especially at this price point.

I’ve been using this PBN whey protein for over a year now, and it’s become one I always go back to. The vanilla flavour is really nice, smooth, not overly sweet, and it blends easily whether I’m mixing it into shakes, water, or even using it for protein pancakes. Each 30g serving gives 23.6g of protein, and with 33 servings in the 1kg bag it lasts a good while. It makes it easy to stay on track with my intake without needing huge portions. For the price, it offers brilliant value compared to some bigger brands. The only minor downside is finding the scoop when you first open the bag, but that’s the same with pretty much every protein powder. All in all, it’s tasty, effective, and affordable, exactly what I need, and one I’ll keep buying.

I picked this up because there was a delay with my usual delivery, (optimum nutrition gold or my protein impact whey) since this was available next day and inexpensive to bridge a gap. I don’t normally like cookies n cream flavours but this is quite nice. A little sweet and tastes more like some kind of caramel flavour to me. I always mix with water, and around 250ml per scoop. It has a thicker texture than my regular options and I’m not sure I’d like that all the time but it’s nice for a change here and there. It has a good amount of whey protein per serving with added BCAA’s which is good for the price point so I’ll probably get it again for when I’m after a thicker shake.

It's high quality whey at a low price. The flavoring is mild and not too sweet, which is great if that's your preference. It also mixes perfectly well if you mix it the standard way in a shaker bottle. I think the other reviewers who say it doesn't mix well may be trying to stir it in a cup, which just doesn't work with whey powder regardless of which brand you buy (unless it's full of fillers, which this one thankfully isn't) Overall you can't go wrong with this. It's basic, cheap and exactly what it claims to be. It's a bag of whey

Chocolate flavour is very creamy, but not very chocolatey, reminds me a bit of watered down galaxy hot chocolate powder. With some brands I'd blend it with almond milk, mix into oats, then microwave at work 2 hours later, but with this powder it goes a very strange texture so I need to microwave the oats and milk together, then add the protein. I also find myself adding a little cocoa powder as it's really not much flavour there. The protein to calorie per scoop ratio is great for the price, and as the cheapest £ per gram of protein I've found there's no room to complain. It does what it advertises, but it is a budget protein at the end of the day.

Definitely a solid choice at a very good price point in the current market, especially given the ingredients and nutritional values. 2kg worth of powder for £31.50 at the time of buying for a blend giving 23.4g of protein and 6.1g BCAAs (isoleucine + leucine + valine content (if anyone was interested)) per 30g serving that doesn't cut costs with highly processed soy protein alternatives doesn't get much better than this. I've only really had experience with ON so far, so my frame of reference is from that point of view. Solid compared to them, I can see myself sticking with this when I want to save money. I've had no problems with clumps using a wire ball mixer, there were very small ones stuck to the bottom of my shaker's lid but easily came off with a spoon and I actually don't particularly mind lumps. Not as much a chocolate flavoured as I'm used to, but not bad by any means either. You end up with a thicker consistency than the ON powder but it is noticeably bordering too sweet for me personally. I get around this by adding a bit of water (mixing with milk) which thins and dilutes the sweetness without affecting the flavour. Do want to give a tip about the bag seal since many reviews mention it. When you open it for the first time, run your fingernail along the side which has powder stuck between the two zips it to get the seal working properly. Otherwise, there's no fault of the product itself from my experience, everyone has different tastes and preferences and I've found my way of using it. Great nutrition, great value for money, solid compared to the more premium (and expensive) ON blend.

Great flavour, tried cookies and chocolate/peanut. That’s my go-to brand for now as it’s 100% milk whey (as I understood) and the flavours I tried are very good. However, it’s not the best in terms of mixing, it gets clumpy every time. If you use an electric mixer, that doesn’t happen. The price is the best. Tried other budget friendly brands and this was the best. Edit: tried the vanilla flavour now and it’s good. Still doesn’t mix well in a shaker, but all good with a blender.

Great for the price, mixes well into yogurt, not really much more i can say, taste is fine, not amazing but get my extra protein in. Good protein content too for the price.

Bonne protéine avec un goût de chocolat qui fait naturel. La poudre se mélange bien avec de l'eau, elle ne fait pas de grumeau. Globalement bon rapport qualité/prix.

Une protéine très miscible, un goût vanille discret et pas écoeurant. Fait son job. Je la mixe avec de l'avoine en poudre, des fruits, du lait ou des laits végétaux...

Ce n'est pas très sucré, comme certaines autres marques de protéines. Le goût de vanille est bon, C'est un peu difficile à mélanger, il y a quelques grumeaux, mais ça ne me dérange pas .

Ho provato questo siero di latte in polvere Premium Body Nutrition 🍫 e devo dire che l’esperienza è stata molto positiva. La confezione da 1kg è pratica 📦, ben richiudibile e contiene circa 33 porzioni, quindi ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo 💰. Ogni dose apporta più di 23g di proteine 💪, perfette per chi vuole supportare crescita e recupero muscolare dopo l’allenamento 🏋️‍♂️. Il gusto al cioccolato è migliorato rispetto al passato (come indicato dal produttore) e risulta gradevole, non troppo dolce e senza il retrogusto artificiale che spesso hanno altre whey 👌. Si scioglie facilmente sia in acqua 💧 che in latte 🥛, senza formare troppi grumi. Apprezzo molto anche il fatto che sia adatto ai vegetariani ✅, caratteristica che lo rende accessibile a un pubblico più ampio. In sintesi: ottimo prodotto, gustoso e ben digeribile, con un prezzo davvero competitivo per la qualità offerta 🔝. Sicuramente da ricomprare!
