Q: Is it machine washable?

I would not recommend washing. I thought I had some recollection that the rug was machine washable but it ruined the texture of the fur.

Q: Is the backing material synthetic or is it animal hide? A lot of the other ones on Amazon seem to have suede backing.

The product is entirely synthetic. I’d recommend a no slip runner if you have hardwood or stone/tile floor.

Q: Is exactly 2x3 or smaller?

mine is pretty close to 2 ft. at its widest point at the bottom and 3 ft. long, my rug is black and i really like it as a small throw rug at the end of my bed
