where do i have to live for it to be socially acceptable for me to wear something like this.

I once saw a guy or a girl wearing something similar like this under a helmet. She/He was hiding behind a car in front of my house, aiming with a black, long, tube-like thingy at the house next door. When noticing me filming from the window with my cell phone, she/he signaled me to get away from the window what i did. I think that was socially acceptable.

I wear a size 7 7/8 full coverage motorsports helmet. 6'4" and a lean 200 lbs so I don't have a fat head. I have kind of noticed that their XXL gloves tend to run on the smaller side so I am kind of in doubt this will fit my pumpkin head comfortably for any amount of time. I wish they would size these things. No way in heck one size is going to fit all. Don't get me wrong Ergodyne makes a quality product. It just won't accommodate some of us big fellahs.

How breathable is the front panel? If I'm using this for snowboarding, will it fog up my glasses?

If you’re using goggles, snowboarding or not you should have already treated your goggles with an anti fogging solution. You can also treat glasses with this solution as well.

Can you pull it down so its not covering your mouth?

Yes, actually you can cover your mourh only, head only or just use it as a neck garter... I love this mask because you can wear it in a lot of different ways. I recommend it if rhis is what your looking for
