Pros- Its easy to put together, the instructions are pretty clear and the process isn't particularly difficult. Its really strong with adjustable tensions to really dial it in to what you want it to feel like. I don't have any concerns about my laptop tipping off of it and falling and it offers a lot of mobility vertically and horizontally. Cons- I really only have one, and this one is going to seem rediculous and trust me, I told myself it was a weird complaint when I was setting it up. Its over packaged. Namely the plastic wrap to protect the arm from scratches is excessively added inside and outside of the arm. Now I commend them for doing everything they could to get the product to you in mint condition but the inside of the arm was where my issue was, It would appear they wrap the individual components before they do the bulk of the assembly for you, but when you remove the wrap unless you take it apart and remove that plastic wrap inside it squeaks when you move the arm. For me that was annoying as could be, so I knew I had to take the lower plastic piece off to remove it, but since I didn't assemble it I didn't know where all of those fasteners held it together. I did crack the plastic around one of the screw heads disassembling it to get the wrap out of the inside since they don't include insructions on how to disassemble that part, presumably because they did it for you. There are 2x screws one to the front and back they are not clips. Take your time and ease that screw out before you assemble it and it will be easier. Fortunately mine is holding just fine with the one screw and I really like this arms mobility and ease of use. take away, the one annoyance was the company really doing their best to deliver a great product in great condition so I wouldn't take a thing away from them for that and while that was the bulk of my assembly time and at that point I was a hair annoyed because the plastic parts seem to be pretty high quality they don't scratch or break easily so I doubted the need for the wrap at all, but like quality of this arm, they took packaging very seriously.
