I've purchased tudca capsules before but did not find much going on in terms of fat digestion after a meal. So I decided to break open the capsules to find that they do not taste bitter at all. This powder however, works it's magic in a very short period after a meal but is extremely bitter(tastes like warm stout found in Asia), and from what I understand, bitter foods stimulate the liver to release bile salts. Takes a while for the tastebuds to adapt but when you get over it, it will be a crucial component for liver and gallbladder health, especially as you get older.

Love this product! I have problems swallowing pills, so I rely on the ease of being able to dissolve and drink tudca. So, yes, the taste is horrible, but the benefits are amazing (more energy, improved digestion, and I have experienced an increase in focus), so I’ve found a way to make the product bearable. Step 1: make coffee.(typically my morning coffee). Strp 2: dissolve the scoop-full in cold water. Step 3: chug the tudca water and, once finished, directly drink a bit of coffee. Gets rid of the bitter taste. Also, I’ve been drinking tudca in the morning this way for 4 months now and, honestly, I can drink it fine now without needed my coffee nearby.

This item came in a neat little container with a little plastic spoon (measurement dose) It arrived on time and I was able to track it. I do know at this stage how effective it is. (my gaul bladder has been removed) Elizabeth Waddell

I've bought this product 2 others times, and it is in the top 3 of worst tasting substance, but now, this last purchase does not dissolve in water and becomes a sticky gooey mess. It sticks to the teeth, gums and roof of the mouth and stays there. Nutricost CS was unconcerned about this. I was told by Nutricost CS that they had decided to change the source of their tudca and they could do that without notification with any product. I live overseas, and the cost of shipping is more than the product, so return isn't in the cards for me.... This is why I went with Nutricost for so long, because they were reliable, but not so much now.

I rating it low only because nutricost won't reply to my question, which leaves me lacking confidence. I received the TUDCA powder 25g. On the package it says to have one scoop in water, one dose is 500mg and one scoop is one dose. I can be sensitive to supplements so I decided I would start with 100mg, so I weighed the amount in the scoop, and found it was 250mg not the stated 500mg, I tried many times, and every day since recieving it, and the result is the same, the most I can get in a scoop is 250mg. Since 250mg is very different from 500mg I felt I should send an email to Nutricost to find out if they have supplied the wrong scoop or the label is wrong or the product is not what we think it is. Well I sent an email to Nutricost on 16th November 2019, then I followed up and resent it on 19th November 2019, it is now 26th November 2019 and no response from Nutricost in regard to this. Be careful, nutricost don't appear to like being questioned
