Tasty
Perfect for making seafood boils and plays a part in a tasty sauce. It is worth the money along with the size of the packaging. The instructions are on the back of the bag.

the actual product is an amazing alternative to the the high sodium/msg stuff
Talk about an insane markup! Geez! Regardless, the actual product is an amazing alternative to the the high sodium/msg stuff. I didnt think it was overly citrussy either, like others have stated. I used both bags, plus some liquid boil for 60lbs of big beautiful select crawfish. They came out great and all my guests loved them too. Next time we drive out to New Orleans for the weekend, I'm going to track this stuff down at a store and stock up. I ordered a week out from my boil and was worried when the estimated ship date said two weeks!!! But, they shipped quickly and got to me 4 days after I ordered. I was very relieved.

Quite good, although too much of...something, in my opinion.
I use it in combination with Zatarains Pro Boil powder and sometimes liquid. This brings the heat, but also a pretty strong dose of what might be paprika. It adds a bit too much savoriness of a certain note to crawfish that are already really savory. I keep buying it though, and cutting it with other flavorings works well.

Really good
Really good. Some will find it too hot, it’s just a preference thing and with a name like swamp fire the heat should not come as a surprise. But no kidding the flavor is great, when cooking for people who my not enjoy the heat I may cook the shrimp in this and the corn , as it seems to retain the most spice/heat in another milder spice.
