When oven cooking iron cast casseroles is best bro even heating, heat preserving and easy to use. Ideal for roast, stew, bake and my favourite for red meat lam shoulder. Meat just comes off from bones and melts in the mouth.Arrived very quickly and well packed. By nature it’s heavy made total weight around 5kg and around just under 4L volume. Ideal for mid large families, perfect size for us with 2 kids. Does the job perfectly and doesn’t take much space in kitchen cupboard.It’s all makes from fire resistance material including lids lid holder, so can be used without hesitation every where.It’s suitable for my gas oven, due to nature of the material it suitable with gas , ceramic, electric, induction and oven cook ports.Looks view also looks posh, blending red colour with dark red is ideal combination.It’s quite easy to clean due to enamelled interior, it’s scratch resistance and beautiful.Came with heat protection mini gloves and countertop protector. Quite nice jester, also heat resistant pad protects from burning counter tops.I welcome it with open arms to my kitchen collection. The oven dish works well both on a gas hob and in the oven but overall our review is negative because it’s just not very practical: 1) weight – it’s heavy (it’s iron) and clunky making shifting in and out of cupboards a nuisance. 2) Cleaning – you can’t use any abrasives or bristles given the ease of scuffing/scratching/chipping/marking the enamel coating. The enamel stains easily (see pic) and is difficult to clean with a sponge/cloth (need to soak for an hour and use lots of hot water). 3) Chips – despite being very careful, it’s been all-too-easy to chip the external coating, including the base just from sliding into and out of an oven. Lovely pot ... Beautiful and colourful.I've made a few lovely family dishes in this including a stew and a Moroccan tagine. Came out really nice and beautifully presented in this pot. I put it in the middle of our table and people helped themselves.Good depth.

I bought two of these so I can bake two loafs in my oven at the same time. We have a small oven but these just squeeze in. My other dutch oven is not enamelled, and I do worry about chips and damage, but I am a fan of the enamel so far. I worry when taking the pot out with only one handle that it might break. And the handle at the top, while I did want it to remove the lids without taking the pot out the oven, I fear it could crack the enamel too.So far no chips after about 20 bakes, but I feel a lot of people buying cast iron do so for durability, so I don't have that peace of mind with this.

This has a lovely even heat when cooked in the oven. The pit is heating and will last my lifetime. I clean with hot soapy water and it comes up like new each time.There are great accessories with the pot to help lift it in and out of the oven as well as a heat proof silicon mat to set it on when it comes out of the oven.The lid is a perfect fit and really speeds up the cooking a lot. This is a great pan and def a better option than some others.

This Dutch oven has only been tested on an induction hob where it performed well. I believe that this product may be a slight second as there are a few very small enamel imperfections apparent. Compared to other brands this product so far represents good value for money though a year or so with it will be more telling.

Very heavy, fantastic quality,Made a few stews in this and it was easy to clean and kept all the moisture inside. 10 out of 10Cant go wrong with it.It came with 2 silicon gloves and a small mat which I highly recommend using.

Arrived very fast, and packaged well. This is a such great value for the price. The Dutch oven is heavy duty and high quality - I’ve already used it several times to bake bread with great results. Alongside the pot itself you also get oven mits and a heat pad to place the pot on when you remove it from the oven. I haven’t used it on the hob yet, but I expect great results! Great choice if you are looking for a cheaper Dutch oven that still looks stylish!
