This product has been a lifesaver for me . I have suffered with cystic acne for the past 5 years. I started out using proactiv about 10 years ago. I always washed my face with the 3 step program. This past year has been rough for my skin for some unknown reason and it was beginning to seem helpless. I kept using the benzoyl wash in the Step 1 and the toner, and then the benzoyl Step 3 treatmen. Well, I had a bottle of THIS cleansing wash left over from a free gift in another purchase. I washed my face with this, then used the Step 2 toner, and then finished off with some Neutrogena Tone Repair. I must say, I thought I would wake up with an even worse face the next morning.. I was pleasantly surprised when I awoke and the cyst that was about midway in forming was dried significantly! I also had 2 other spots that were in the early stages and they were reduced down to dried up small bumps. Not sure how long I will react good to this, but hopefully my good results will last a long time. I have had great luck with the whole Proactiv brand and this is just another great product from them. Another thing that I have noticed is it can be used on the body as well. I dont have acne on the back, but my back was feeling rough. I use this on a back scrub brush in the shower and now my skin on my back is feeling smooth again.

I like cleaning my face with this. I don't use any of the other Proactiv products. I don't need them. But this has a nice scent, has tiny abrasive beads, and does a good job of cleaning my face before moisturizing. I've used this for years as my go-to cleanser. It makes my face feel really clean, probably because the granules do a good job of exfoliating my skin. I recommend this even for those not dealing with acne.
