Same as CVS
This is less expensive than buying at my local CVS, but it's the exact same product. It has a fruit flavored, thin candy coating. If you're trying to cut down on smoking and are thinking of trying the gum, go for it. It worked for me, it may work for you. But you still have to be disciplined. What you should know is that none of the nicotine gum tastes good when you first try it. I tried the non coated gum first. I later tried the coated fruit flavor, which was far more enjoyable. If you chew it a couple of times and then tuck it next to your gums, the nicotine will absorb through your mucus membranes. There's a little tingling you can feel with it being absorbed. When you need a boost, chew on the gun a couple more times and maybe even move it to the other side of your mouth while not chewing.I spent a year smoking five cigarettes a day and chewing gum as needed during the day. I've not had a cigarette in three months. I still use the gum though. I find that sometimes stressful situations cause me to want to smoke. Seeing people smoking makes me want to smoke a bit. The cravings aren't bad though. The gum is enough to curb that craving.Try cutting one cigarette out during the day for a couple of months and chewing one piece of gum in its place. Just one. You can do it. Then choose to cut out one more during the day, chewing one piece of gum in its place. Don't move on until you know when you're ready. It may take years. I spent a year at 10 cigarettes a day before I cut down to five a day for a year. When I have a craving, it's easy to chew the gum and remind myself how my lungs are in the process of healing themselves and if I smoke even one, it will set that healing back. I never stopped mountain biking even while I smoked. Being able to extend my ride and ride even harder is what I stay focused on.Even if you have setbacks, don't stop trying. Even if it takes ten years to quit, it's better than not ever quitting at all.
