Budget friendly
If you are looking to get started on exercising at least get this. It is cheap and good quality. Be creative, I use them almost every day. Sturdy, clean and comfortable. You can work on every muscle if you are creative enough with this product and is extremely easy to set up.I would recommend an extra pulley wheel or some other handle attachments. The stock cloth handle might get uncomfortable after a while.

SYL Fitness Cable Pulley System For a Home Gym
I have many different types of cable pulley systems so I know what to expect from them. I purposely picked this one because I did not want yet another rope pull attachment (I have 7 of them I think). The attachment included is a nice change of pace and works quite well. I like the smoothness of the pulley and the ease of setup. The only thing I wish it included was better instructions. The only part that caught me off guard initially was why is there a chain yet the instructions do not indicate what it is for.In the video the guy used it to wrap it around to hang it with which makes sense but over time it will scratch whatever it is wrapping around. The instructions show using a different part to hang this pulley system with that wont scratch anything but does not in my opinion look heavy duty enough to want to use.I combined the two items instead to get the strength and avoid scratching up the top of my power tower (which is in my house not in my shed gym). To do like I did you simply use the oval shaped strap (like in the first photo of the product listing and shown in the instructions) to secure it. Then you also add the chain and have it rest on the oval strap. Now you have the best of both worlds. I would have given this 5 stars but because of the lack of directions I deducted one star. As for the quality of this pulley system it is great!

solid investment
After reading other feedback I went with this cable system. Honestly, I was more concerned with function than price but like anyone I didn't want to overpay. Before I purchased I looked at other systems avaliable on Amazon as well as purchasing the parts seperately. It didn't take long putting individual parts (cable, pulley, pin...) before I realized that going with a system made the most sense for me. It arrived yesterday (next day shipping was a factor) and took just a few minutes to setup. I already had ropes and other attachments so the fact that the tricep strap it came with seems cheap isn't even a factor. With that being said, I am very pleased with the overall quality of this product and would recommend. Most I've run is 50 pounds, which feels like the same resistance as 70lbs at the gym. No problems. This was exactly what I was missing from my home gym. Also, just undo the pulley clip and I have access to my pullup bar. So my review for the pulley, cable, and pin is 5 stars. High quality at a fair price.

The best inexpensive lat pulley system on Amazon.
For those of you looking for an inexpensive lat pulley system, this is probably the best one available... Including the Spud Incorporated system sold on professional equipment sites. This system, if it is only rated for 300 lbs, is still plenty for the average user. I plan to install it on my rogue RM - 4 power rack, and have already tested it with 80 lb. The Pully works smoothly, looks attractive and seems to be very sturdy.

A great product for a good price
Pleasantly surprised at how good this product is. Great pulley and smooth as silk. This is coming from a retired National competitor in the bodybuilding world. Nice to see a quality product. Perfect for my home gym.

Great for while the gyms are closed
The pulley and cable was a good match for when the gyms were closed and I could use it with my power rack. The cable itself I found a little bit thin so it probably can’t handle very much weight. But I have loaded it past 90 pounds without any problem. The biggest drawback I find is that the pulley tends to swing back-and-forth because the connection to the bar is by the strap. So if you're doing tricep push downs or other pulls, the weights tend to swing back-and-forth because the strap above is not in a fixed position--and if you get into a rhythm, there weights can really swing and hit you. But overall it did meet my needs for when the gyms were closed, so I'm happy with it. I purchased some additional push down attachments for it rather than use just the strap tricep push-down that came with it. I can also do back pulls with it but I usually have to sit on the floor to get enough range of motion.

A convenient kit with cheap components at a markup
Bought this kit for $66. I noticed that the seller raised the price. A loading pin for olympic weights is about $20-25, the pulley and all of the other pieces are cheap and could be assembled at Home Depot or here on Amazon for about $20.Therefore I overpaid about $21 for the convenience of having this all packaged together. While the pictures show the rope assembled (which is how I expected it to arrive), I had to do the assembly myself.I am not super handy, but I feel like I could have simply saved money and just upgraded each piece of equipment for a cheaper better end device. That said, the pulley works fine. The wire is thinner than I might like but will secure a pulling load of mild weight with no problem. The system seemed strained over 60 lbs, but was fluid at 50 and below. Hope this helps.
