I HAVE USED THIS MACHINE NOW FOR MONTHS ON END, IT RUNS MANY TIMES DAY AND NIGHT AND IT PERFORMS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED! I WILL SAY MY GIRLFRIENDS SISTER BOUGHT THIS EXACT MODEL AND SHE HAD SOME ISSUES WITH HERS SO MAYBE THAT WAS AN ISOLATED INCIDENT OTHERWISE THIS PRODUCT DEFINITELY GETS THE JOB DONE! IT IS A BIT NOISY, I HAVE IT PLACED APPROXIMATELY 60FT FROM MY BEDROOM AND I CAN HEAR IT RUNNING AND DROPPING ICE AT NIGHT BUT IT'S NOT TERRIBLE! IT'S EXTREMELY SIMPLE TO USE AND THE ICE TASTES GREAT! WE'VE ACTUALLY MADE KOOL AID ICE CUBES WITH IT AND THOSE ARE A NICE LITTLE SUMMERTIME TREAT FOR THE KIDS!

This is the best item I’ve purchased for home & camper!!! My ice maker quit working (which most of them do) and I got tired of buying ice & making it in trays. It makes ice in a few minutes. Love the size of the cubes & it makes a lot of ice....very easy to use. I’d recommend this for anyone with a bar, outside (if you have an electric outlet nearby), deck or patio and especially for RV campers. It’s easier to make a batch of ice & keep it in a bowl rather than using ice trays. It’s not that noisey either

PROS: It was easy to clean and set up for first time use. It makes ice very fast. It isn't loud. It doesn't take up the whole counter in my camper. The ice doesn't have a funny taste.CONS: The ice starts melting almost right after it's made. I have to empty it after 1 or two dumps or else it just gets watery. It only makes enough ice for about a 16 oz drink at a time. Probably wouldn't be a good purchase if you plan on using it for drinks at a party. It will serve my purpose just fine, since I can harvest each batch and transfer it immediately to the freezer.I have figured out that I can turn it on when I know I'm gonna be in the camper so I can be sure to transfer the ice to my freezer. I got about a gallon bag of ice in just a couple of hours.Overall, it pretty much does what it claims and I think it's an ok value for the money.

I bought this ice machine because my mother loves to chew on ice cubes. The ones in the refrigerator freezer are too large so I was looking to find something like the hospitals use. The machine has worked beautifully and the only noise is when the ice cubes drop into the basket. She loves them and they don’t melt right away making it easy for her to enjoy anytime. Thanks for the great machine. It’s a breeze to clean as well.

I received my countertop ice maker in mid february. It was fantastic and worked great. It stopped working in July. I did all the troubleshooting options I could find on their site, manual, googling it to see what other people may have done. I have emailed the support line via the website three times, I used the " contact seller" option on the amazon site to send a message and I have called (they have the wrong number listed on their website).I have been doing this for 3 weeks now and still have not received a reply from any of the communication methods I have used. I just want to have the machin replaced. I liked it, it was easy to use and lightweight. Things happen and something products don't respond the way you hope which is not the end of the world.I am however angry that there has been no response to my inquiries. That is definitely poor customer service and hope they will still get back to me.

The item arrived several days ago. I allowed it to sit for 24 hours as per instructions and then filled it with Smart Water. The unit has a choice of large or small-sized ice. I chose the large size, which turns out to be fairly small. That works fine for me. The production of ice seemed slower than others have reported. That works fine for me, as well. I am the only one in the household, so I don't need masses of ice. As each basket of ice is filled, I empty it into a sandwich bag and place it in the freezer. When used, it is necessary to bang the bag against the counter, as the bullet-shaped cubes have frozen together. That works for me as well. Since my kitchen is quite small, the unit is placed in the laundry area on top of the washing machine. The noise level is very quiet. Thus far, l am satisfied with this unit. Hope it continues to function for a long time.

This is nice to have. There are a few problems with it. The ice is too small and melts almost instantly. It doesn't shut down when it is done making the ice. If you forget to go back and check on it, it will run forever. If you want an abundance of ice, you have to keep going into the kitchen and refilling it with water.Otherwise, we like it for quick ice. If you stuff it into a glass full up to the top, it will keep the drink cold for an hour or more before it melts. We drink water and we love it iced. It takes one full basket per glass.

I love this machine!! We do not use the tap water in our house, due to sediment in it. I use bottled water to fill this. It makes the best sized ice cubes in 10 minutes and no mess in my freezer! We usually will run it for a couple of hours and stock up on our ice for the week and turn it off until its needed again. It makes ice so fast and is so convenient. The ice cubes are the size of bullets you can choose between big and small (really the small is just thinner than big). I put my ice cubes in Gallon size freezer bags when they are done. It's easy enough to stock up for coolers as well.
