My 4 year old asked for a recipe book for Christmas and after looking at several in bookshops and online I went for this one. He likes looking through our recipe books and particularly likes Jamie Oliver's 5 ingredients book as there is a picture of each ingredient - so finding a book for him with decent pictures was important.He was so happy with the book. The recipes are simple enough for him to not lose interest and there is a good range (and not anything obscure that will never get made). He can be quite a picky eater, but wanted to try everything in the book. He also has a peanut & hazelnut allergy which can put him off cooking sometimes but he is able to make all the recipes.I would recommend this book to anyone who has a young child that is interested in cooking and baking.

in the product description the book was described to have 'Very good' condition, so naturally i expected it to arrive in good condition, however when i opened the package i immediately noticed the withered exterior and foul stains on the front cover, as well as the pungent smell. As i was flipping through the pages, most of them were dirty, but still readable, this was until i came across one page that was coated in dried out cake batter that had blistered the page making it unusable and quite disgusting. Do not trust the second hand copies, even if they say "very good quality". It's a joke.

This is a lovely cook book for children. I tried the cup cakes and was amazed at how light and fluffy they were. Bought two of these books for my grand children after visiting my relative who was using this book. Very simple recipe to follow. Great value book every household should have one

Makes a perfect gift for children, add a container of sprinkles and a box of cup cake mix and you have a perfect (unusual gift for ages 4yrs to 7yrs) boys and girls
