the locking clip is extremely thin and seems fragile and likely will not hold for items like a light or multitool
Make sure you really want this size before ordering. I would suggest stepping up to the 20mm. The 15 is a little too small and difficult to attach and detach from a key ring. It also doesn't hang very ow which makes keys harder to utilize when attached. Lastly, the locking clip is extremely thin and seems fragile and likely will not hold for items like a light or multitool. I would recommend stepping up to the 20mm as it is not really that much bigger. Also, McGizmo in my opinion should stop production of the 15mm and make something a little bigger and more sturdy, such as 17mm.

Tiny, clever, well-built clips
These clips are even tinier than I expected. But they're well-built, solid pieces.

Excellent size but very fragile.
The pico clip was the smallest clip I could find. I used it to detach a key from the rest of my keyring. The reviews saying that it may be too small for normal use are correct - it was a bit awkward to unclip, but since I rarely needed to unclip it, I preferred its small size over usability.Unfortunately, just a couple weeks after I began using it, the metal wire latch fell off while it was in my pocket. I liked it enough that I will try re-ordering the pico clip and the nano clip when they are back in stock, but I worry that the same thing will happen.

One good yank and it's going to get all bent up
Listen to other consumers here about flimsiness and frailty- I've found clips of similar sizes and designs on $5 gas station key chains that prove stronger than this (thinner than) paper clip. Size wise, this is what I was looking for. The actual movable mechanism here though, is my main complaint. One good yank and it's going to get all bent up. I wouldn't trust this product with anything important that goes on a key chain....I feel dumb that I bought two. Don't make the same mistake! Buy nano, or better yet, buy a product from a manufacturer that doesn't charge you $5 for a paper clip. Completely useless.

Jewel Clip - Pico size (15mm)
I bought three of these.Testing finds them to be stronger than El Cheapo Chinese made small split rings, which distort out of shape when tugged. The benefit of these McGizmo Jewel clips is obvious: take off keyring, place on keyring. (wax on / wax off)The Pico (smallest in the range) is tiny. I had a hell of a time getting a high-quality USA made stainless-steel split ringto fit. (mind you, we are talking about a size #5 , 0.334" O.D. complementing ring here).Out of the first three I got,two had VERY strong springs --- needed astonishing amount of force to push it, with-respect-to the tiny size!!!!!!!!!The third of three was more as-like expected for thin wire spring ---- but I wish it was more tense like the other two.I plan on buying heaps more in the Pico size. [I hope I don't get arthritis later in life, or these'll be pesky. he he he]

Five Stars
They are good just check the size.

perfect size but clip came off
The size was great and I liked that easily to change tags from a collar to another. However, the clip came off during a walk and my dog tags are lost forever...

Unreliable
I knew these were small, but they're even smaller than I expected. Because of that, the gate clip is so fragile and flimsy that my Ti prybar keeps coming off of it. It takes literally no effort for the gate to open. Do yourself a favor and pass on this size and step up to the Nano at least. I wish I'd had known better otherwise I'd have done the same. I can't imagine these being useful for anything, especially with the gate opening so easily. I provided a photo so you can see for yourself how small they are compared to a couple sizes up (the larger clip is an older model True Utility one that came with a key shackle).
