However, the spearmint seems to have a much longer lasting flavour. Biodrgradable gum is incredibly difficult to acheive, so it seems like something that would be forefront of their marketing if it was. Also, the wrapper is definitely plastic, so why would they go through the effort of making biodegradable gum (which is incredibly difficult to do), without making biodegradable packaging (which is easy by using cardboard)? \n\nThe ingredients state \"gum base\" without going into specifics about what the makeup is.
