It's a beautiful case. Sturdy. Shaped like a suitcase and the inside is plush.

Q: Is this difficult for new student compared to yas-26? why is his school recommending expensive yas-26 over this better and cheaper one?

My son's HS band teacher tried to tell me the same thing. He recommended the Yas-480 which isb$1000 more. I researched this sax and it's fine and will last forever. My son loves it and he made first chair. There are many YouTube videos that say this saxophone is great and it is.

It's made in Indonesia. The sax is stamped made in Indonesia. It's sold by Yamaha Japan for the EU/Asian market. There's a "western" model version, which is basically the same but with nickeled keys. This is the superior model.
