These are so awesome. My pool has the 6 inch lights and it was going to be 5k to fix them thru a pool dealer. I had these bad boys up and running in 3 light locations in 2 hours. As tasty to finish. Really good value.

Great small pool light! Way more color options and settings than we use, but still nice to have. Very bright.

The media could not be loaded. Start with the bad:Update: support contacted me (immediately) and is sending a new controller, so problem #1 will be fixed.1) as my video shows, red, green, and blue are fine at full intensity. If I select white, yellow, or purple: all the lights on the controller blink… as does the pool light. If I decrease intensity, then those colors work. With Bluetooth, if I select one of those colors, it comes on for a moment, then reverts to the previously selected color. I’m guessing the transformer in the controller is insufficient to drive the full LED load. Support sent a replacement controller quickly and the video no longer applies.2) the video in the Amazon ad shows them using 12vdc input… this unit uses a 120vac input.3) the app is really bad. Needs a lot of fixes.A) It gets into a state where it’ll no longer connect with the Bluetooth and you need to delete and reinstall the app.B) While the music mode is “interesting”, there’s no way to stop it. Even exiting the app.C) The power button often doesn’t work (says it’s on when off and off when on and pressing it doesn’t change the lights actual state) and needs to be more recognizable as “on” or “off” (colors used are too subtle and confusing as to which indicates on and which indicates off).D) lots of options but no idea what it’s doing… and no manual. They need to simplify the front end of this to just basic colors and music. Creating your own colors and patterns needs to be an advanced screen.E) only allows music selection from what’s on the mobile device, not what I’m streaming. On an Android, we couldn’t figure out what it wanted.4) the “stainless” steel won’t last long in a salt pool (as seen in other reviews).5) no included electrical supplies. Wire nuts would have been helpful.6) I was unable to fit it properly into my Pentair housing. IDK if something is missing in there. No place to screw it in. Just letting it sit there with the partial clamp at the bottom.Good:1) great ideas at a great price that just need a little better execution. Was not going to pay the pentair price for a replacement where the halogen fixture broke.2) the music would be fun if it would follow what I’m streaming and not require the music to be stored locally, and was able to stop the lights (revert to not following the music).

UPDATE: Almost a year and lights are holding up great! No issues but the app is still pretty bad.—-Very happy with how great they look and how easy it was to install. This replaced an older Pentair light and it’s awesome. Happy so far but it’s only been 2 days.The good: easiness to install, brightness, Bluetooth control, color choices and overall look. Price is awesome too.The bad: There are a few things I am worried about regarding quality of this product like the cable being really thin and cheap compared to a Pentair so tells me a lot about the rest. Will this light last? Hard to say since feels somewhat cheap and things under water take a beating…Worth trying it out for the price. Happy so far!

Easier to install then expected. It works great!

Decent light for the price. I purchased two lights one for spa and one for pool. The pool light is dim not too bright. The spa light doesn’t fit flush in my Pentair housing. The adjustable Retainer Tab broke. I emailed the manufacturer but have yet to receive a response. The adjustable Retainer Tab should have been metal or plastic to hold the light in place. Now I have a spa light holding up with one screw and bottom half sticking out of the housing. This is something to think about when you’re reading about a 2 year warranty with this product. I need assistance manufacture help me out!

These lights were a perfect fit for my older spa (6") niches that are in my spa and also my pool. I really struggled to find LED lights that fit 6" spa niches, and not quite ready to re-plaster the pool, so was happy to find this lower cost option. The lights are actually flat / surface mounted, so the niche just holds a few feet of extra cable for servicing above the water line, but should be noted that LED lights can't be serviced anyway. Easy to pull the cable through the conduit, LED low power lights means this cable is much thinner than the old cables I pulled out (pro-tip: use lubricant when pulling cables through conduit). Each light is 12v 18 watt, so more safe, and waaaay less power consumption as the previous lights were 500w, 500w, 100w. Super happy with the brightness and the color. Yes, we can tell the difference in 'white' color compared to more expensive LED pool lights. On these lights we can see individual LED colors trying to blend together, but still looks pretty good to us. Other colors like cyan this isn't an issue, in fact the attached photo almost looks artificially colored, but probably just correction from my phone camera. Overall, bright enough to make the palm trees glow from the pool light. I was able to use one controller for all 3 6" lights, and this is the maximum capacity for transformer that is in the controller. The in/out cables in the controller have waterproof fittings, but I had to make a silicone plug in the conduit to waterproof the entry into the junction box.
