Works very well. However, could have done better with a power control knob. Grill gets hot very quickly at the highest temperature. When grilling meat on the griddle, have to be extra careful not to burn food. Slow cooking not possible.

Too hot, burns the outside en th middle remains cold. I hope theres a temp setting on this, if that gets fixed goes immediately yo 5 stars

Cadeau de mon chéri pour Noël. Et franchement je me régale avec les paninis. Certes l'appareil en chauffe est brûlant, il faut donc faire aux enfants. Je place les paninis dans du papier sulfurisé pour ne pas salir l'appareil et pour ne pas cramer le pain. C'est vrai que ça aurait été mieux avec un thermostat mais quand je regarde les autres appareils à panini, il y en a qui n'en ont pas non plus. Et pour le prix il fait largement le taf. C'est vrai que la prise est assez courte mais personnellement ça ne me dérange pas vu que mon plan de travail possède pas mal de prise. Après au pire les multi-prises existent....

Va bien pero si te descuidas se quema el pan de los bocadillos en 3 minutos, las tostadas no salen tan bien como en las tostadoras tradicionales pues o sacas el pan bimbo blando o si lo dejas un poco más se quema. Eso sí, podíais poner que no viene el adaptador de corriente para Europa, 4 euros lo tuve que comprar en un chino.

Was für ein unerwartet großartiges Gerät! Der Russel Hobbs Panini Grill übertrifft all meine Erwartungen! So eignet sich das Gerät nicht nur für die Zubereitung hervorragender Sandwiches und Paninis, sondern macht auch als Grill eine sehr gute Figur. Ich grille seit gut 7 Jahren ziemlich leidenschaftlich auf einem Smoker und auf einem Weber Kugelgrill, mit recht guten Ergebnissen, aber so schmackhafte Hamburger wie auf dem Panini Grill habe ich bisher noch nicht hinbekommen! Schönes Grillmuster, das Fleisch schrumpft kaum zusammen, die Zwiebeln karamellisieren bestens, der Käse schmilzt wunderbar, dass Brötchen wird genau richtig knusprig (man sollte das Ganze natürlich im Auge behalten) Mittlerweile benutze ich das Gerät für fast jedes Fleisch. Leberkäse, Würstchen… selbst Filet oder Steaks anbraten geht schneller und hübscher als in der Pfanne und wird sehr gut, wenn man das Fleisch danach noch bei 80 Grad in den Ofen schiebt. Man kann das Gerät auseinanderklappen und hat eine größere Fläche zum Grillen, oder aber zusammengeklappt als Kontaktgrill, so das direkt von beiden Seiten gegart wird. Praktisch. Das Highlight sind natürlich Paninis und Sandwiches. Wer nur die ollen Sandwichtoaster kennt, wird begeistert sein. Hier wird alles gleichmäßig gegart und es entsteht keine seltsame, leicht suppige Masse in halb verkohlten und halb lappigem Toast. Das Brot wird wunderbar knusprig, der Käse schmilzt gleichmäßig, unerhört lecker! Mein Geheimtipp ist Fladenbrot, schon mit Schinken und Käse und vielleicht etwas gegrillte Zucchini, Zwiebel oder Paprika. Ein Traum! Das Gerät lässt sich auch unkompliziert reinigen und saut nicht so ein, wie ein herkömmlicher Sandwichmaker. Wir besitzen und nutzen das Gerät nun seit circa 2 Monaten und selbst, wenn es nach dieser kurzen Zeit nicht mehr funktionieren würde, ginge ich los, und würde ein neues erstehen!

It's perfect as a toaster, but not as a grill. It has the shapes for it but it’s very difficult to clean, the hobs are not removable and if you need to clean it with some product it takes long and is a mess. At least is nonstick, so easy to takeoff the burnt part. It has a part that collect the drops of fat, that you can easily remove and clean it. The top part is not rigid, it moves depending on what you put on the hob, for example if you have a tall toast you can close the toaster and the top will stay horizontal to it. There’s no way to control the temperature (so isn’t the best as grill) but is not too hot or too cold, even if you leave it open, there is a thermostat that keeps a certain temperature. There is no button to switch it on or off. That could be a problem because if you forget it plugged in, it continue to stay on an super hot, so it’s very dangerous. - Is not safe if you have children or for older people. - Summing up, is a good choice if you need a toaster, not so good if you are searching for a grill, but at least you can use it sometimes to cook something without so many expectations. Not super safe but if you are wise you will not have problems. Good choice for me, I use it like a toaster and it does a very good job.
