Product operation is great but I'm not ready to trust the battery in a wedding setting yet.
Wedding DJ here with a HUGE light setup. When I first started I was running DMX cables everywhere and it was a huge hassle. I first took a gamble on the black ones with antennas as the warehouse had a killer deal when I found them. I've since bought 2 more sets of these with the batteries and I'm sold for life on these things (battery or not). As others have said actual battery life is 4-5 hours and I don't know about others experiences but they don't hold a charge real well in storage. I find that I have to recharge right before I use them if I want to use the battery portion. I've only run them on battery during casual occasions because in the business...you don't leave things like this to chance. If I had to nitpick anything, this would be the biggest one.I use about 10 during a gig for the various lights in my show and just bought another set for some uplighting I'm going to start using. I've never had an issue with response from the receivers or transmitters and I've never had to reset them during a show. Most of the fixtures I have include linkable power so that I can just plug the receiver into the DMX port and the power into the power link port and I'm ready to go. It saves a LOT of wires running behind the drape as its cluttered enough back there as is. The only light that acts a little oddly is the chauvet motion set (drape and facade). If I leave it on a solid color using wireless DMX, then occasionally I get a flicker on the color. I tend to run that one wired and then put the transmitter on the DMX out of the drape just to keep any hiccups from happening. To be fair it could also be the DMX controller I use, but since the issue resolves with a wired connection, I'm dinging this product for the issue.Lights I use this with: generic moving heads, ADJ megabars, Chauvet Hive, Chauvet hemisphere, Chauvet Zoom USB 2.0 gobo, Chauvet circus 2.0, Chauvet Mini Kinta, ADJ MegaQplus uplights, ADJ Dimmer pack, and occasionally Chauvet motion set. As you see, it's working with a wide variety of lights.Truthfully, I'd rank this product a 4.5 out of 5 for the battery failing to hold a charge in storage and the slight flickering on occasion on the motion set. I didn't feel it warranted taking away a whole star though. These things are great and I trust them to run weddings all the time. Customer service has been great too. I needed a new power supply once when I broke it and they got me set up very reasonably. If you want a wireless DMX solution, this is a trustworthy group to give your business to.

I will never use wires again
I'm a mobile DJ and have been using these for almost a year now. I was another brand, which were chrome, but I got some of them stolen and needed some replacements. I liked these because they were all black and didn't have the translucent ends with the big blinking lights. Out of the 6 receivers, over a years time, I've only had one that the battery isn't lasting as long as the others. Other than this, all of them work perfect and have a great range. If you notice you're not able to get a good response from some of your equipment, try changing the color/frequency on the transmitter and receivers. Some buildings have different frequencies being used in the area and may require you to change the frequency you're using. I usually set mine on red or green, but just recently I had to use purple for a venue.

These are totally awesome.
Just charge... plug and play! They last about 7+ hours. WOWZA! Saved me a half hour unplugging and winding all the DMX cords. Love them! Simple... learn learn the correct channel after a few uses! Insane good.

A Living Review...
This review will be a living review due to the usually poor quality of products that originate in China. Even the instructions are written in poor English. I will give my initial review. Then, I will come back in the future to offer reviews after a fair amount of use and when the product dies.Initial Review (9/4/20):The package arrived right on time in its entirety. I noticed that other reviews had said they had to wait an additional ten days for the rechargeable receivers. That was not the case for me. I placed my order and received everything the very next day. Each receivers is contained in its own sealed bag along with its charger which means there are eight total bags when you include the transmitter. The first thing I did was remove them from their bags and inspect them closely. I must say that I was impressed with their construction. Keep in mind that I ordered the black set as opposed to the silver. They seemed pretty solid. I liked that the manufacturer made the chargers in a way that allows them all to charged on the same surge protector at the same time should I choose to do so. It's a sideways mount charger rather than up and down which could block 2 or 3 other outlets if the charger is big enough. The on/off button for each receiver was hit and miss. The included instructions (very small print) state that you unscrew the end caps and lift the buttons for easier access. I don't believe that this is something the end-user should have to do. Some reviews say that they just use a pen to press the button, but that can be a hassle too when you're trying to save every second in setup time. The receivers all took approximately two hours to fully charge initially. After they were charged, I pulled out four ADJ Mega Hex Pars, one ADJ Mega Bar RGBA and one Chauvet DJ FXarray Q5 along with an analog DMX 512 controller. Using these, I programmed six fixtures into 40 scenes and 4 chases. The programming using the wireless transmitter/receivers went off without a hitch. No issues whatsoever. Then, I ran the scenes and chases. Once again, flawless performance. Nothing hiccupped at any point during the intial programming use. I only played around for a couple of hours. So, I cannot give an honest review regarding battery life during gig use. That will be coming very shortly.Battery Life Update:I have found that it varies with each unit. I may get four hours out of one receiver and seven hours out of another. Thankfully, I haven't been in a position that prevents me from leaving the received plugged up to power during operation. With the exact amount of battery for each receiver being up in the air, I don't know I would trust these in a wedding setup without having spare charged receivers on-hand. All in all, I do not regret this purchase.11/2022 Update:First, battery life has not diminished. That’s a good thing! However, if I had to make this purchase again, I would go with the chrome version due to the channel color being very easy to discern with the led lights on the end. The black version makes the channel color very difficult to see because you have to look thru the hole in the chassis for the power button. Another upgrade option that I would love to see would be a single charger with a split connection for all seven receivers. I get that each having their own charger is beneficial to the user that charges each receiver while it's in use. However, for those that do not, it requires a full power strip in most cases to charge and probably another since most simple strips only have six outlets.
