Q: These do not come with instructions, and the nut and screw setup is a little confusing. Which nuts and washers go on which side of the drawer face?

Put the threaded stem of the knob through the drawer face. Add a washer on the threaded stem on the inside of the drawer face. Screw the nut onto the threaded stem and tighten against the washer. If you like, you can also put a washer between the knob and the front of the drawer face to keep the knob from biting into the wood on the front of the drawer. However, you shouldn’t be tightening the nut so much that you need to worry about the washer between the knob and front of the drawer face. Hope this helps.

Q: Can I get longer screws? They won’t fit my drawers.

The screws are attached to the knobs if that helps.

Q: is the base reversible?

Hi. I'm not sure what you're asking... Which part are you calling the base? The screw (bolt?) comes out. All the pieces can be taken off the screw thing... The ceramic knob part could go on the other way I believe, but most are pretty plain on the back side. If by "base" you mean the metal spacer thing on the back, then you could... Have I answered the question at all? Good luck!
