One of the main reasons I purchased this mat is because my barn cats would sharpen their claws on my old one and they ruined it….shredded it. The rubber backing on this one should prevent that from happening.Glad I went with the larger size. It looks very nice on my porch and seems well made

I needed an extension for the disability ramp at our house. I have to wheel my wife's chair beyond the aluminum ramp and over gravel to help her into the car. I used a large rubbery shop mat but that isn't good on very hot days. It gives too much. This thick, tough mat doesn't bend or sink down under the weight of the wheels.
