Up until recently I had cats in my house continuously, so that when that changed, and I saw the ad for this product, I immediately bought it...I've purposely been checking whenever I leave the house and return... because after all we get used to the smell and will not notice something that has been there longer term... Recently I used it for an unusual problem...I have a leaking problem that has not yet been fixed... it was causing problems with breathing...I place one of these packets directly at the location...and it was solved the next day... I haven't tried to "reuse" them as described...but I bought an extra set so will rotate them if they do indeed "come back to use" a second time... Good product!

I did put these in the sun for an hour before use just as it recommends before putting them in two cat boxes (hung behind the plastic boxes inside of wood cat houses) and two bathrooms (door stops next to toilets). They’ve been in their places for about a week now it did take a few days to notice a difference. But after the rain or on humid days it did not do so well. So I can’t give this a top rating for effectiveness, I still need my scent less candles. I can not handle any perfumes so I really was hoping this would help more than it does. I’ve not noticed any reduction in dust by the way. It helps some but not sufficient alone on reducing smells. I used the rope provided for just the two hanging ones in the cat box there was not enough rope to use for all of them, so I needed to access the filter bags in the cat box areas more than the bathrooms. They do make fairly good door stops in the bathrooms without any rope. I do like the appearance of the bags. I’m going to try moving some around to see if two in a cat box will do any better on the thought that one bag might not be big enough to do the job in the cat box alone.

These are amazing! Took smoke smell out of room! About every three-four weeks I place them in the sun to recharge them! Excellent product and great price.

It is a job to keep moving them around for the sun to spend the hour on them each day. If I had good sunlight it would not be bad. The one room that it gets some sun is less dust for sure. If I had known they would need 1 hour in the sun, I would not have purchased. That should be in the description. A working person at this time of year with fewer sunlight hours it won't work. BUT the 1 room..doing good..so thinking it would work for someone that has sunlight coming through their home.

Like that they are reusable & not a disposable product.

Upon opening the box the smell nearly knocked me over with a HORRIBLE stanch like livestock manure. I put them out in the sun for 2 hours and they still stink to high heaven. They are currently in the basement because the stink is so terrible I wont have them foul the air in my home. Tomorrow I will leave them out in the sun all day and if that doesn't work they are definitely going back. I can not or will not recommend these to anyone. Were these a return from a barn?

Having cats are the best but they literally stink up the litter box and it’s absolutely repulsive to me with the smell lol call me dramatic, idc. I put these in the laundry room where the litter box stays and it completely takes the odor away. Literally worth the money . Plus they last a long while too !

I use the charcoal bags in closets that are storage area for canned food and paper products. I "charge" them about the first of the month and I notice less musty odors in the closets. There is no odor to the bags themselves - I rated 1 star on scent because there is none that I smell. I did not think they were supposed to have an odor. I have to write put bags in the sun on my calendar as it is hard to remember something like this for me! Maybe will be easier in the summer as we do not always have sunny days on Day 1 of a month during the winter!
