Works well on my real steel. Feels metal and decent construction. Allows for a peep sight pass through for a front A2 post perfectly clear. Used some pliers to really set it in and has not moved an inch. Red dot on the mount has held zero as well. Well worth the money.

Out oof the package and cleaned with rubbing alcohol added blue locktight and installed. Fits real well and you still can use the sights. I installed a red dot. I believe its going to work real well. I,m very happy

I was skeptical of the price at first but this does the job on a carry handle .556/.233 AR. Installation was a breeze, we used a dab of blue locktite( you always should) and mounted a green dot up top and has held zero perfectly. so far the optic has remained accurate. It seems very durable despite the low price. Would recommend.

This worked great on my carry handle A2 AR Upper. I mounted a micro red dot which still allows me to use my zeroed carry handle iron sights underneath the mount in case my optic fails. I would suggest using a tool to tighten down the screw that holds the mount though, since mine did come loose right after some 223 rounds when zeroing. Once I used an allen key through the hold and tightened it, it held zero for the rest of the day no problem.

I was able to use to this to put a red dot on a PSA gun with a retro style carry handle. It is sturdy and stays put to keep the rifle at your sighted zero.
