I have been browsing around for about a week trying to replace some cheap stovetop pans that I have had for quite some time. I was very skeptical about ordering anything due to some of the reviews about the "nonstick issue". Some people state that this is their first meal using the product and cooking an egg on it, only for it to be burnt onto the pan. (my theory is that these people don't know how to cook and they aren't prepping the pan correctly...) I washed the pans first, turn the stove on to heat the pan up, and put a small spray of olive oil on it. After about a minute, I put my egg on their cooked it in a matter of a minute or two, then the egg slid ride off with zero stains, burning, or residue. So, that's an immediate win for me. Overall the pans are great and do their job. I am only giving it 4 stars right now due to the fact I have only cooked eggs with one of the pans. When I get around to cooking larger meals, I will probably update. **UPDATE Oct 29 2022** Been using the pans for any type of meals you could think of (as my wife and I use Hello Fresh) some of the meals and Ingredients are sticky or would burn into a pan, but not these. I’ve had beef, turkey, pork meals slide right off the pan with no residue, and minimum cleanup. Great pans.

I bought this set of 3 pans in 2022 and have generally loved using them. They heat evenly and have not warped over time, often cooking on high heat on an induction heat cooktop. Mine are all well-used and although the inside surfaces have lots of tiny scratch marks they still remain perfectly non-stick! I love that they don't have rivets on the inside for food to get caught up in. The handles are a marvel in my opinion.... They look like beautiful wood (even after 3 year's use), but they're really some smooth rubber-like material that stays cool and comfortable to handle. Also, the handles are still sturdily attached after all this time and have not loosened at all. My ONLY con for these pans is that the outside bottom surface leaves ugly black/gray marks on my white kitchen towels. I have to always remember to dry the bottoms and outside with a paper towel and only use a cloth towel on the inside surfaces. (They have unfortunately ruined more than a few of my white dishtowels.) I would NOT recommend washing these pans in the dishwasher even though the advertisement says they're dishwasher-safe. I think that is what causes the black film on the pan bottoms and also what caused the tiny scratch marks on the inside surfaces because I never use anything but wood or silicone coated cooking utensils on them.

I liked the weight of these. they are thicker than my last set, so it takes them longer to heat up, similar to cast iron. non stick is great so far, however i still use a small amount of butter or coconut oil or ghee to cook/fry in. Haven't had to turn up the heat on them past 3-4 on my electric stove, so i don't know how they would do searing meat, etc. A good deal for the money! Easy to clean, just wipe out, or use a little of detergent and rinse clean. Very durable & pretty dk. grey color. Handle does get a little warm, but not a deal breaker.

The Motase Frying Skillet cooks food evenly, saute"s, deep frys and does not stick, excellent value for the price. I has an attractive Wood handle.

I do not use anything that can chip off or scrape off usually. These are worth the changing of utensils, lol. I used these first at my folks house on vacation. The biggest test is eggs! Now I would not usually choose to omit spray or oil in the pan for eggs, but I had to test these bad boys the real way. SURE ENOUGH just a slight wiggle of the pan and they're sliding all over. I bought me a set and had them delivered there before I even came home. Cooks very evenly, not heavy, looks great. Perfect size. I do wish they had lids with them. I use at least one daily, and it's holding up well so far.
