The bag has beautiful colors ( love that hot pink trim!). It has a detachable, adjustable strap, zippered multiple pockets & seems very sturdy. Not sure I'd be smitten with rigid handles in the sardine plane world, but it'll be great for non-air travel. So happy whenever I see carryon/tote luggage of decent quality at a reasonable price that isn't the same ole boring solid colors. Very happy!!!

We just took a little overnight trip, and instead of packing everyone's clothes together in one suitcase as I'd normally do, I decided it would be a nice grown-up thing for my children to pack and carry their own bags. My son already had a duffel bag, so I bought this bag for my daughter. I really could have packed both of their things in this bag with room to spare, but the whole point was for them to be independent. The bag is huge--she was able to pack pajamas, a change of clothes for the next day, a little bag of toiletries, an extra pair of shoes, and her favorite stuffed animal to sleep with--and she still had plenty of room to spare. The bag itself is lightweight, and she carried it fine (she's 11). She loves the pattern--it's cute and girly for now, but it doesn't look childish, so she'll be able to carry it for years to come. This was a great purchase!

This bag fits under the seat on a plane, or in the overhead bins on the tiny itty bitty planes that put most carry on bags underneath the plane! I wanted a bag that I could fly with and not have to wait for my carry on to be brought back to me since I typically fly on routes with smaller planes. This bag was just it!It has little feet on the bottom of the bag, which are perfect for setting it down. The pockets are super handy for your travel paperwork. And on my last trip, I had two people tell me how cute my bag was. I take long weekend trips pretty frequently, and I can pack for the entire weekend in just this bag. Four outfits, a pair of high heels and a pair of flip flops, two make-up bags, a 450 page book, two hairbrushes, two magazines, and my tablet. Done! Easy!It isn't a fabric on the outside, but instead a more durable feeling material. It does have a slight chemical smell on the inside of the bag for a few days. So buy it early, then stick it in the garage to let it air out. I didn't have time to do that for my first trip, so I just wrapped my clothes in a plastic bag before I packed them. It was perfectly fine. I would buy this bag again!

Great carry-on! I travel frequently and get tired of wheeling my bag behind me, so I was looking for something I could throw over my shoulder. This bag is perfect. I packed for a long weekend and still had plenty of room. The bag fits well under the plane seat. I did have a flight on a smaller plane with limited overhead space and the bag fit fine. If I had stuffed it full, it might have been a tight fit though. I love all the outside pockets. I was able to put all my travel supplies on one side (phone, charger, headphones, gum) and my wallet and tickets on the other side. I knocked it down to 4 stars because of the strong chemical smell that everyone keeps mentioning. I didn't have a lot of time to air it out, so I did put my clothes in large ziploc bags. Once I finished traveling, I put some charcoal in it to absorb the odor.

I was skeptical about this bag, but it was a good price and a pretty pattern. Since I really like damask prints and needed a new bag for school/luggage purposes I felt this fit the bill as I often have too much junk I need to take to class.I assumed that the width was a bit less than advertised, but it's dead on. This bag is VERY roomy on the inside. Also, I'm happy to note that the connectors for the shoulder strap are all metal pieces, no plastic to break with a heavy load. The stitching seems fine, and I carried my heavy books in it yesterday with no problems. My only complaint is that the little flap you can button to keep your handles together is sewn to the handles and cannot be moved. It is right in the middle where you hold on. I feel this might get a tad annoying when using them to carry it and it's heavy.I'm pleasantly surprised by this purchase, it was just what I needed and if you are looking for a larger bag this will probably do great for an overnight bag or a carry-on.

I love this bag, I wish I could give it 5 stars but it does have that smell other users have talked about. I had to air it out for two weeks (one week inside then one week outside really helped) then I had to spray it with some febreze to finally get the smell out. It still smelled a little the first time I used it but the smell didn't transfer to my clothes and now it's pretty much gone. Now that I can finally use the bag I love it.It is well made and large enough for two average overnights. I bought it because I wanted something easier to carry on the train than a full on suitcase as I do a lot of one night trips. The design (french toile) is really pretty and has an expensive look.

Cute travel bag. I am planning two upcoming trips that I'm looking to use this bag as a carry-on. Haven't gone yet so I don't know how it will travel but it is plenty big and roomy to fit everything I need to take with me. I like that it has a shoulder strap as well as handles to carry it. I'll update when I've used it on the plane to let everyone know how it fits under the seats of an airplane. The material should wash up well by hand too.Update: Just flew to Europe with this great bag and it fits very well under the plane seats. I didn't have any issues with the airlines carrying it on the plane. Very sturdy so happy with this purchase!

I tend to spend some nights away from home every week, and I really only need something to carry a change of clothes and my toiletries. This is big enough to hold close to a week's worth of clothes for me. It's not too unwieldy, though. I do find myself wishing sometimes that it was a bit smaller, but that was an error on my part when I bought it. So far it's held up well, and it came to me in perfect condition. I haven't really noticed any of the smell that some other reviewers have. And I do like the bright colors and patterns it has. I'm fairly certain I'll be using and abusing it for a long time to come.
