Great little sub amp
I have an old KEF subwoofer as part of my setup, and sadly the inbuilt plate amp recently failed (a well-known issue with these units). The driver and enclosure are still fine, so I was looking for an external amp to resurrect the sub. I already have an Aiyima T9 Pro driving the system (which is excellent), so picked the A3001 to do the job. Setup was straightforward, wiring the sub's speaker directly in to the 2 speaker cable poles in the rear (I believe the single RCA jack is for a different use as I couldn't get a signal this way). Setting the amp to sub mode just works, adjusting the built-in crossover to tune the sound. My only gripe is that the crossover and volume controls are stepped, but actually I haven't knocked a star off for this as realistically this is only a psychological thing.

Absolutely fantastic, quality unit that delivers.
To preface this, I purchased the cheaper A1001 from Aiyima and was generally impressed and was keen to try out the bigger sibling. Unlike the smaller unit, this came with a 32V/5A DC power supply, a welcome addition though I wouldn't have minded paying £10 less for a unit without it. I've used these both from wall power and running on LifePo4 batteries with a DC watt meter, and have ran test tones through it with an oversized subwoofer to measure output. The 300W rating is by no means a fib, with a ~3ohm load, 35 volts and an uncomfortable amount of distortion you will get there, but nobody buys an amplifier to load it at 100. Musically the amp leaves no stones unturned, the crossover is fantastic and doesn't have any chafing when turning the pot, the volume control is a stepped pot which has a satisfying click in small increments as it turns - a good sign of a quality amplifier especially at this price point. In terms of output power, more realistically you're looking at 150W of clean, musical bass without masses of harmonic distortion into a conventional 4 ohm speaker. Being able to switch to BTL mode to drive a full range speaker is a very nice touch, much like it's smaller sibling. However this unit also offers a sub output, so you could also drive a full range speaker and output to another amplifier to drive a subwoofer. I have not tested this however. All in, for the price point, the overall quality of the unit has left me impressed and I'm keen to see what other goodies Aiyima has to offer!

Good value for money
I purchased this amp to power a home cinema subwoofer. The built-in plate AMP stopped working but I didn’t want to throw the whole thing away. This amp is a 1 ch output only amp. But it will take a stereo input via RCA connectors. It appears that the LR inputs are summed and sent to the mono output. Useful if you are using as a Subwoofer amp as most people only have 1 subwoofer. The construction is surprisingly solid. The rotary pots have a nice click resistance so won't get knocked easily. The Speaker connectors take good sized banana plugs. The PSU is external and has some juice so best to connect it all up before turning the power on. The PBTL/SUB switch active a 12db Low Pass filter on the output with variable control up to 200HZ. Good for tuning Subs if not using an AV amp. It's advertised at 300w but I'm not sure that would translate to real work performance. However, its loud and clean enough for your average living room home cinema. It also has a mono LFE pre output using RCA. This is variable as per the freq control knob.

Works as advertised
I have this amp bought via another well known site. I used this amp do drive a couple of transducers and it works well. Have also used it to drive my subwoofer and that worked well too.

The PSU is not as rated, max 52wpc into 8 ohms.
An independent review of the same unit under the brand name Fosi shows the PSU to output 52w peak into 8 Ohms. This will disappoint anyone expecting 150wpc into 8 ohms. The video Fosi Mono Amp shows same unbranded packaging and hardware that I received. The reviewer tried an smps of 10A which also failed to reach 150wpc peak at 2 Ohms. If you need to power a centre speaker this may do, but I would prefer that it not promise 300 wpc. The RMS wpc is unknown but is generally far lower than the peak. I decided to give 2 stars as the hardware is well made, the volume knob has a good feel. There is a problem with the power rating which could be solved, and would justify a higher rating in the future

Just good.
I can only drive 2 4ohm subs in 2ohms.

Works great for my surround passive sub woofer.
I use this amp to power my surround sound sub as my new Denon surround amp only has a pre output for sub woofers. This amp works perfect and now I can have my 5.1 surround. The sub frequency has a good range and the bass sounds clean.

for very little money. Well made. 👍

After doing some research, I picked this subwoofer amplifier because it comes with the best stock power supply when compared with competing units within its price range. So far, I'm quite happy; I currently have it paired with a "broken" (bad plate amp) Martin Logan Dynamo 700W, 10" subwoofer. While it isn't rated for as much power as the stock plate amplifier (~200W versus 300W), it seems to have no problems driving it; fully-cranked there is just clean and loud bass. I'd imagine you could rattle a room a bit if you paired it with a larger/ported subwoofer. What mostly differentiates this from other monoblocks is the inclusion of a "SUB FREQ" knob. This effectively lets you set your cut-over frequency without requiring a DAC or some other type of EQ module; since my main speakers perform quite well down to about 45-55hz, I keep the SUB FREQ at a level where the sub is only producing notes at/below that range. For a basic 2.1 configuration, this function removes the need for additional equipment/cost. I would highly recommend this unit for anybody looking to breathe life into an old subwoofer. The cheapest subwoofer sold by Martin Logan today goes for $600 new. I found mine from a local electronics recycler for $130 and spent $20 in parts plus the cost of this amplifier to get it all working. The value proposition these little class D amplifiers provide is fantastic whether you have an unpowered sub, a powered sub with a bad plate amp, or if you want to build a subwoofer from scratch. Time will tell the longevity these units provide; if it lasts, i'll be sure to buy another one if I decide I want to add another subwoofer to my rig.

Great product, using it to replace the panal amp in my B&W ASW-2500 subwoofer and im finding it a great substitute. As a bonus the controls are more excessible now than before. As i would have to crawl in behind the sub
