DigitalLife MIDI Interface (5-PIN) Merger Box - 2i/1o, Metal

First of all, the price of this interface is lowest I have ever seen for a MIDI interface. I expected the thing to look, and feel cheap. Neither was what I found. It appears to be well made, from quality materials. Not much else to say about the quality. For the most part, MIDI interfaces are fungible. But WHO you buy it from is important. There was a very minor matter with this unit. There was a set screw missing from one of the terminal covers. This omission has no effect on the operation of the unit. Beside that, it is easy to buy a set screw for a few cents. Even without it, there is no problem. I wrote to the vendor, just to let him know that the screw is missing, as I thought s/he might want to alert the manufacturer to look out for that in its manufacturing process. I did not ask for anything. A day or so after I sent the email, I found out that the vendor had credited the entire purchase back to my credit card. I did not ask for that. I certainly did not feel that a refund was warranted, since the interface is fully functional. But this vendor's idea of customer service is about the best I have ever seen. Will I buy from this vendor again? You bet your sweet bippy I will.

Bought this to update the firmware on a Line 6 M13 effects unit. Worked with no issues.

The cable works as expected. the connectors are metal, which is nice. Had to replace one of the screws on the midi end since the original screw fell out and would just spin when screwing it back in.

cool little cable, it has drivers built into it i think so there is no need to dl any new software. thats kind of cool. other than that it works just as advertised.

And the worst part was, it didn't work, so I had to return it.Product was mis labeled and day or two after I got it, it had been removed from Amazon.
