The good: They are stylish, cool-looking and have these twisting necks that let you position the light at any angle (like 360° rotation, and 180° up & down). Also different levels of brightness and "soft" or "true white" color option.The bad: They only stand about 5 feet tall, and they work far more like spot lights than room lights.I would not have bought them if I understood they were more like very adjustable, very stylish, spot lights. That said, I kept them because I do have some art in that room and at night, it's kinda cool to spot light them.

This is an example of over-engineering. And and-not so good engineeringFirst, the light is excellent. No moving parts. Silent on-off switch.Second, touching the on-off area causes the light to cycle through the intensity and colors.I would prefer a setting system of intensity and color that remained set, then a simple on-off.

Nonobtrusive, fits easily behind a couch or chair, easy touch button to turn on/off and adjust brightness.

I ended up buying two of these and when I bought the second I discovered the only issue I have (and why I lowered one star). When the light is off, there is a small LED light to indicate it is off. The problem is this light is much brighter than you expect - bright enough to leave a reflection on a wall or ceiling. I'm not one who needs total darkness but my husband needs darkness to sleep. I have to unplug it for that little light to go away. This would truly be my only complaint. It was easy to put together and I like the different settings. I hope they get rid of that "off" light for the next version.

This is a great lamp for spotlighting a small area like a craft table, reading chair or something similar. We thought this would light up more of our living room, but its really just for getting a lot of light in a small area. We will be buying something else to get light across our whole living room.

Easy to assemble and use. Bought it to provide light for the work-at-home desk, because desktop space is limited. I like that the color temperature and brightness can be adjusted with a touch, but I wish that the movable portion was a bit longer. I can't quite get the light where I want it for handwriting, but it is perfect for use with the computer.

The headline is pretty much what you need to know. These are very small lamps but they do flex well and they have a neat amount of settings / colors but for LEDs they heat up WAY more hot than I'd like. This is likely the hottest LED light bunch I have in the entirety of my home of probably a dozen different LED contained products. So that said, if you need a decent corner or desk adjacent lamp, where heat isn't and size aren't issues - go for it, there are worse and there are better.
