brilliant lil shaker, makes a nice sound and is fairly easy to pick up and play

As the guitarist in our trio, I can vouch for the useful sound of this shaker. I bought it for our percussionist as present last Christmas to contrast with the smaller shaker he already had and he uses it regularly - a sure sign it's a success.

Just what I needed

What is there to say about a shaker? I mean, they're all pretty much the same, right? Well, my experience is limited, but this is the best I've used, and the difference is significant. It feels good in the hand, feels substantial but not heavy, and has a crisp and clear sound. It's a big step up from the plastic eggs.

A really nice tone and so much better than the plastic versions which you should avoid. Feels goodwhen played and has a decent volume.
