LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Classic Character Edition (Amazon.co.UK Exclusive) (PS4)

I wasn’t expecting to love this game as much as I do, but it’s honestly such a good time. The LEGO Star Wars humour is spot on — silly, charming, and full of little details that made me laugh out loud. The gameplay is super fun and easy to get into, whether you’re a casual gamer or someone who just wants to chill and smash stuff with a lightsaber. There’s loads to do and I also love that you can switch between characters and explore different parts of the story. Co-op mode is a blast too (and mildly chaotic in the best way). If you're a Star Wars fan or just want something light-hearted and fun, this is such a great pick

Great fantastic sagers, graphics and game play great

This game is as epic as the title suggests. It contains all 9 films and a load of side missions and collectable items that increase gameplay immensely. My one fault is that I bought this for my kids to play and some of the collectables and missions are really tricky for them (and for me when they ask for help!). Examples of this are some of the timed challenges and certain missions where your choice of spaceship is critical. I would say that this is better suited to an older kid with a bit of gaming experience. The graphics are excellent, gameplay is smooth and instinctive and the cutscenes are often hilarious. The saga is loyal to the films whilst retaining the innocence of Lego. Look out for some good easter eggs too, like Indiana Jones references! Well worth it.

I personally preferred the style of the original Star Wars Complete Saga game but am in. Ew consoles now. This is a great game though, just in my case I’d have liked it even more straightforward. Any Star Wars/Lego fan should have this though!

We’ve been playing PlayStation once or twice a week with my 5yr old. We started when he was 4yrs old with the Lego Superhero’s 1 & 2. This Lego Star Wars game is a step up from this. He loves it & it’s more detailed with the character development. He still understands it & is keen to progress through the storyline. I honestly was a bit nervous about this game, as the movies are scary for young kids… but Lego does a really good job at pitching it at the right level with humour/ jokes that adults can appreciate too. There’s also a lot more blue bricks to collect (& spend) in comparison to the superhero's gold ones. Similar to Lego Superhero’s saving up for the ships/characters takes time but you can unlock multipliers which really helps. Overall I think it’s a great game. But requires more overall playing time to progress through the storylines.

Loved Star Wars growing up, especially the LEGO Star Wars PS2 trilogy. When i heard this was coming out, i was so excited. The graphics are great, even on the PS4, (even better on PS5!) and there's so much replayability and just so much to do! Free play, co-op, the new first person over the shoulder shooting mechanic, there's just so much love put into this title and I enjoy playing it so much!
