So many features to love and brews great coffee! But the accompanying manual needs some help.
I've been looking for a reliable (and reasonably priced) brewing coffeepot since summer 2020. After hours of reading reviews on various models, I finally chose this one. My husband and I are very happy with our choice. The coffeepot looks sleek on our countertop to begin with. But it functions perfectly for our needs and makes great coffee, and that's most important.Everything is easy to clean. We both enjoy the clear area on the water reservoir that shows how much water we've put in. But our favorite part is the insulated carafe. Others' reviews stated how long their coffee stayed hot. And I do mean HOT. Believe them. Hours later, we poured more cups, and they were just as hot and fresh-tasting as when first-brewed.Two criticisms:(1) How to remove the lid of the carafe - in the accompanying manual, they should show (but they don't) how to twist the lid (and where) to get it off the top of the carafe. It took me quite a while to figure it out. One simple drawing/schematic would have greatly helped.(2) And they should have stated that the plastic measuring spoon was inside the carafe when you first get it.Someone wasn't thinking when they overlooked adding this information to the manual.Otherwise, we highly recommend this product.

Hot Coffee 7 Hour Later !?
This coffee pot isn't very large, but brews just enough for 2 people to get a togo tumbler out of it every morning. This pot is amazing and keeps your coffee hot for hours; the coffee burner turns off when finished burning- so your coffee doesn't cook or burn in the carafe. NOTE that this carafe is built to keep your coffee hot, NOT TO POUR THE WATER INTO the pot to brew the coffee. I can't believe that was a consistent complaint about this coffee machine. Use a water pitcher, or a giant baking measuring cup to pour your water into the machine. So what if the the carafe isn't the ideal design with which to pour water into my coffee machine to brew. I much prefer the current design that keeps my coffee hot & even fresh-ish for OVER 7 HOURS!!! It definitely will taste fresh for 3-4 hours after brewing. This is a quality machine and a great buy!

Wonderful value
Makes good coffee. Keeps coffee hot for a long time with power off. Very nicely finished and attractive. It is heavy to handle but the weight is justified by thermal-insulation and overall high quality construction. More information is needed concerning operation of the carafe lid. I find NO advantage in using the permanent filter. It is messy to clean and not as efficient as paper filters. This is our second Mueller and we had no complaints about our 12 cup machine. The carafe fell into the sink and broke. Replacement carafes are far too expensive when the price is compared to the cost of a complete machine.

It's a lot of work
Pro This coffee maker is built very sturdyCon I have a measuring cup out on the counter to fill it upCon Unless you warm up the pot the coffee is luke warm at best. I don't know where people live that say it brews hot coffee but in the winter in michigan my thermostat goes down to 65 at night thus the pot gets coldCon I warm up the coffee pot at night and leave in hot water, meaning I can not use delay brew as I have to empty the water out every morning before brewing coffee. This way I at least have warm coffeeCon the pad on the bottom is not heated meaning coffee gets cold before I finishCon There was a review saying they liked the fact that it has a permanent filter reducing their carbon foot print. I have to literally laugh out loud at that one as it takes more water to clean the filter meaning you use hot water thus increasing "foot print"In summary I have just went on line and bought the exact same Mr. Coffee that I previously had. So if anyone wants this I will sell it for $5 you pay shippingBottom line is I wish I would have never bought. Wasted $50I hope this helps someone, this is probably the 3rd or 4th time I have ever submitted a review out of hundreds of purchases. I was just so disappointed that I had to let folks know what they are buying.

Stays hot forever!
This is a great coffee maker! It only takes about 10 minutes to brew a full pot, which the product description said, but in my experience is rarely actually the case. The pot stays warm for hours - Even with only two cups in the carafe, it was still steaming four hours later. The controls are fairly straightforward and easy to operate. The only thing I would say is to pay attention to the fill line (something I did not do the first time) because there is a small overflow hole in the back of the machine above the "Max" line, and the water will spill out if you overfill it. The filter is easy to clean, and you have to depress the handle to pour the coffee, so accidental spills aren't an issue. Overall, it's a great device, with a great price!

Great tasting coffee, could use a few improvements for improved function.
Positives: I like the reusable filter, it does seem delicate but no issues so far and cleans easily. Makes a great tasting cup of coffee and is nice looking on my counter.Negatives: The carafe does not keep coffee warm for very long if it's not substantially full. There isn't a hot plate that you can keep on after brewing, which is only an issue because the carafe doesn't hold heat as well as it should. I'm also not a big fan of the lid. There is a tab that you press to open a tiny plunger inside of the lid to dispense coffee when pouring. It barely moves and pours very slowly. That plus the cheap feel of it makes me concerned it won't last and isn't very functional.Notes: There is a water overflow in the back at the same height of the max fill level and if you aren't carefull, it will flood your counter. This brewer almost has an injection style of brewing that makes a steam/gurgling/dispensing noise as it brews. Similar to what you hear at the end of the brew in other machines, but cycles during the entire process. Just something different, but may bother some people.
