You will want to color it all!
Joyous Blooms to Color is a coloring book with a collection of approx., 84 illustrations (see below) by Eleri Fowler that are accompanied by uplifting quotations.By my count I found: 72 single page illustrations with 5 of them borders to color around text 12 two page spread illustrations. The book is in a square format. What I really like:I love the images throughout the book. So many lovely illustrations that it's hard to decide which one to start on first.I like that there is a little information about the artist and her inspiration at the beginning of the book.I love the selected quotes and they fit very well with the theme of the drawings. The paper is a good weight and a nice white. The paper tooth is excellent for colored pencils. The price is reasonable for what you get. What I would change:The pages have images on both sides which means using markers would sacrifice another illustration to color. There is no listing of images, or page numbers/titles, for me to easily reference an image. There is no test page.Best media for coloring:I recommend using colored pencils or gel pens if you do not want to sacrifice the illustration on the opposite side of the page you are coloring. My favorite image:About 9 or 10 pages in there is a picture of a stone path leading to a table set for two.Overall rating:5/5I can see myself coloring many more of the images from this book. It's a keeper!

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK!!!!
I don't think I'm ever this excited to write a review on a coloring book before. The title of my review says it all, I just simply love this book! First of all, the paper color in the book is pure white with a perfect amount of thickness to it. The designs are drawn with black thin lines, quotes included and I especially love the designs in this book because they are not way too intricate & repetitive like Secret Garden by Johanna Basford. I get excited flipping through this book because I see myself being able to color in almost every single page. I love that the illustrations are different from one another. So far I've completed the first few pages and I'm planning to complete more pages as I go. I've tried Prismacolor premier colored pencils along with Faber Castell polychromos in this book and they both work great! I also heard water based markers and pitt pens work great in this book as well. The only drawback that I could say about this book is the pages are double sided so you have to be careful when pick and choose what medium to work with especially if you use alcohol based markers and worry about bleed though. Other than that, it is my absolute favorite coloring book and I highly recommend it to anyone who are beginners and/or experienced in the adult coloring world. I only wish that this book has more recognition because in my opinion it deserves more attention than some of the overrated coloring books out there.

Coloring Elegance
Eleri Fowler is my new favorite artist!! I am ashamed to say she has escaped my attention all these years of coloring, but now that I have discovered her exceptional style of art, she will be a staple in my work. This is, by far, the most beautiful adult coloring book I have seen. Each page is unique, interesting and well thought out. I was intrigued by her presentation of the subject matter (This book has one of the most unusual butterflies and peacocks I have ever seen) Then I read how she creates each design and I knew why this is no ordinary book. It costs a bit more than those I usually buy (by about 3 or 4 dollars) but the quality of the paper and cover more than covers the slight difference. I also am pleased with the unusual 10" X 10" size. I will be quickly adding her books to my collection. I highly recommend her work, you will not be disappointed.

Almost perfect
This book does not have perforated pages or printing on one side but since I am using pencils and have no desire to take apart the book those things don't bother me. The only thing is that the printing runs into the spine of the book but that's about fifty percent of books. Other than that this is a gorgeous book from cover to cover, beautiful crisp images, lovely illustration and a nice smooth thick paper. I was concerned that the paper would be to smooth for pencils but it's not is takes the pencil really well. I had a bit of trouble blending the colors with a blender pencil but if you blend with a lighter color pencil it works just fine. I was hoping to get all the books from this artist but I understand that in the rest of the books they swapped out the paper for a thinner kind so I won't bother.

A Delightful Escape from Reality
This is one of the best non-Johanna-Basford coloring books that I've found so far. The pictures aren't quite as intricate as Basford's as a rule, but they still have lots of delightful details. They're almost all as nice as the one on the cover (see the great video posted by another reviewer). The paper is smooth and takes colored pencils wonderfully. (I mix and match all kinds of colored pencils, from Caran d'Ache to Crayola--even Dollar Store brands occasionally--and they work equally well.) All in all, it's a joy to color! I have the other book in the series too, and I hope there will be more--the sooner, the better. The fantasy flowers and stylized "real" flowers are lovely, and the little "critters" too. I like to color realistic nature pictures but these drawings with their dream-like flora and fauna are so much fun when I don't want to be messing around with reference materials or trying to get the real-world colors "exactly right." Here you can either stick to realistic colors or let your imagination run wild--the end result is a beautiful picture and a happy relaxed feeling.

Livro de colorir adulto, muito bonito
Os desenhos são muito bonitos, dá para colorir inclusive a capa.A folha não é muito grossa, mas o desenho do verso não interfere no da frente.

good quality with good price.
So pretty, the first 1 or 2 versions have better paper quality, so I like this one as it's the first one.

El papel es delgado
Tiene imágenes bonitas sin embargo esperaba que fueran imágenes mas reales, y la calidad del papel es muy delgada lo cual no permite utilizar muchos materiales para iluminar.

Gorgeous book that ticks all the boxes
I have a large collection of colouring books from various artists - Johanna Basford, Millie Marotta, Kerby Rosanes etc - and I wasn't sure I could justify buying yet another to add to the growing pile, but I'm so glad I did. This book is gorgeous and fantastic for someone like me who loves to colour but can't draw to save myself! I have found that a lot of other books have either too much space, intended for you to add to the images, or are so intricate it is difficult to colour them in such detail. This book is the perfect balance and it helps that the images are absolutely gorgeous too - whimsical and 'pretty' would be a good description. The paper used in this one seems to be pretty good quality. I use pencils and a few gel pens, so I've not tried felt tips or water colours but I would think there would be some bleed through and paper buckling if you were to try those. The images are double sided so I think pencils are the best medium for this book unless you are happy to sacrifice the reverse image. The binding isn't the best and the covers are pretty flimsy, but I can forgive those little issues because I really love this book and can honestly say it is now my favourite!
